This is definitely a very simple and great product. I connected it through ground rather than positive and works flawlessly at activating the relay ; however it did not come with a bracket as other sellers do offer

Working well so far. Concerned about moisture ingress and durability. Heavy ceramic case.

So far they’re working okay. The instructions were poor so I had to use a multimeter to figure out which pins were which (NO, NC, and C). The description said that they included mounting screws, but this is misleading. It contains screws to mount the dial to the unit, not screws to mount the unit to anything. Other listings seem to include a mounting bracket, though these did not come with one.

The probe will be too big to fit through the radiator core so I used stainless steel wire to tie the probes to the fins. Works well besides that, the instructions show mounting inside the upper radiator hose but I feared that would cause a small leak. When the dial is facing you use the two prongs on your left. If you use the farthest left and the farthest right prongs then you fans will stay on at a certain temperature and under and continue to run. Once I had that figured out both units have been controlling a teo speed fan quite well.

Just installed this , removed Deralle electronic dual fan that I installed two months ago . This American volt is old school, easy to install and seems to be spot on with temperature. I installed as a push in sensor on my rad . It can be installed inside the hose also . So far I like it , I will up date if any major issues. Much cheaper than the Deralle also

I set temperature at 160 degrees and the switch turn on automatically and it’s turn off when temperature reach 160 degrees. It is completely opposite of what I’m looking for. Maybe shipper got bad products from manufacturers.

Worked like it should.
