Of the many similar cups I read up on, and ordered/returned one, this is the best IMO.1. The lid slides shut for carbonation retention. Otherwise your soda goes flat before you drink one third of a cup this size.2. You can also toss it in a backpack as it's mostly spill proof. When you turn it over you get a slow slight leak out of the mouth.3. The lid fits in very tightly and flush. I feel like the gasket will last a long time. The straw is the right length and it isn't bent. I don't know who wants a bent straw, personally that would seem a bit effeminate.**EDIT** after one week of ownership, the lid has already failed. The tab falls with gravity during every sip and closes partially. So I will need to spring for a replacement lid.4. The insignia doesn't stand out too much and it's at the bottom. And it's kind of a funny name. I didn't care for seeing "ATLIN" every time I take a sip. Who the hell cares about Atlin? There's no brand cachet with Atlin. You're not Yeti, get over yourself.

I purchased the Nature Boy Travel mug to replace a porcelain travel mug that slid off an icy car trunk lid, and shattered into small bits. The Nature Boy does keep my coffee warm much longer than the porcelain mug it replaced, and the base does fit in my car's cup holders. It's a good thing the cup holders are well away from the dashboard, or the height and bulk of the Nature Boy would be an issue. I use the Nature Boy to transport my daily triple latte to work, so I've not used the metal straw. If I were to drink from the Nature Boy while driving, the straw would be the safest way.I would give the Nature Boy all five starts, but I've been unable to figure out how to remove the cup slider without breaking the slider arms. Cleaning under the slider is hit-and-miss. The slider does lift to fit a paper towel under the cup and slider, but it's not as effective as cleaning the slider and cup separately.

i absolutely love this cup i am a iced coffee drinker and living in Florida it helps i find that when i drink coffee hot i start sweating badly in the Florida heat but with that being said this cup not only keeps drinks cold but will also keep them ice cold even after being on my tool box at work for hours the ice never melted and my coffee was still ice cold till the end i also like the fact that this cup didn't sweat or leave water residue on my box/counter tops being a aviation mechanic i always hated when condensation water left from iced coffee cups would get on the paper work this cup is well isolated will keep any beverage hot or cold it came with a removable handle and stainless steal straw accessory bristle brush cleaner and easy to clean lid the cup is also made of stainless steal but was also surprised that it wasn't a finger print magnet if that kinda thing bothers you i was also surprised when i pulled the cup out of the box its a lot bigger then i had anticipated it to be but also a plus this thing is beefy and feels like it will last me many years i also love the labeling with this being said i would highly recommend this to a friend. i Received this product at a discount for my honest and unbiased opinion

Bought it for my ninety year old mother in law. She really likes these mugs but wanted one with a handle. I told her I didn't know if they made them. Found this and made her day. She has arthritis and it was hard for her to hold on to her other one. Less expensive and better than mine.

The holder keeps coming off hope it does come off when it's time to use on our cruise pretty heavy though so I don't know if we'll take this on our cruise.

the nature boy 30 ounce stainless steel tumbler set if I could give more than 5 stars I would. the tumbler set is awesome. it comes with the 30 ounce stainless steel tumbler, a heat resistant coffee mug handle, vacuum sealed lid that is spill proof and has a sliding closure, a stainless steel drinking straw, and a wire cleaning brush. the tumbler is for use with hot or cold drinks liquids. the hot lasts 12 hour and the cold 24. we filled the tumbler with ice and went to the dog park. it was 90 degrees outside. we stayed several hours and when we got home we checked the tumble and it was still just like it was when we filled it. we have a lot of places that the tumbler I going to excellent to use. the picnic lake, again the dog park, work, just to name a few. we haven't had to clean yet but the directions say just bleach and water and rinse thoroughly. I would recommend and we plan on purchasing another one. the tumbler was received very quickly and was in adequate size box with bubble wrap and indiivdually boxed and inside wrapped individually ,, I received this product at a discount price for my opinion

This is a BIG cup! I love it...tea or coffee stays hot for hours! I don't need to keep filling it and I know I'm getting enough fluids.
