I am DELIGHTED with this gorgeous hardbound illustrated edition of The Poetry of W. B. Yeats. The book and slipcase are flawless, and are a perfect match for the content - they have a luster to them that adds to the enjoyment of reading this volume. This is now a keepsake in my Irish poetry collection. 5 Stars with an exclamation point.

I bought this book because I really like Yeats's work. This is not a complete collection but it is a nice gift for someone who enjoys his work. If you are passionate about Yeats, or are buying this for someone who is, I would pass on this book. The big pro here is the construction of the book; the pages are sturdy and high gloss, cover and sleeve are well made, and print is clear and easy to read. The biggest con, for me, is when I come across a typo in the poems, it is just lazy. Separately, the images they chose to pair with the poems are boringly stereotypical.

It is simply nice to have WBY in a single place. The hammer? For the television.

Beautiful book! Lovely slip case and presentation of the poems. Contrary to a number of other reviews, the book I received is in perfect condition. Very pleased!

I don't actually know much about Yeats I purchased the book because of the movie Equilibrium and I was not disappointed at all

Bought this version because it was sold as "contains the complete poetic works of W.B. Yeats", however it does NOT contain all of his poems. Many of my favorites, such as "Brown Penny" have been omitted. And as others pointed out, there are typos too, which is just sloppy for a professional anthology. Disappointed.

Yeats is my favorite poet. I purchased the book as a gift to myself.

I bought this book as a gift for an Irish man with a love of poetry. It was a beautiful publication of W B Yeats. I was delighted with it, and the recipient was over the moon. Thank you Amazon for being able to source such a lovely publication.

It has very few poems contrary to the description claims, it is actually a gaudy edition and the illustrations are pretty generic. I think some will find the paper as "deluxe" but for me the selection was tasteless. It was packed without anything protecting it (like air bags) and so mine was badly battered. Thankfully I got a refund.

Bought as a yule present for my mom, arrived quickly and she was very happy with it
