AWESOME PRODUCT!
Great product! My 7 year old has REALLY stinky feet. She has two pairs of sneakers, and we rotate them every other day, so they have time to dry out. This hasn't helped the smell. She has had problems with athletes foot, but she doesn't have it now (and we purchased new shoes so the athletes foot wouldn't continue), but within a few weeks the new shoes were stinky, too. We have her wash her feet every evening, and sleep without socks... nothing helps. Her shoes start to smell, and then it all goes downhill. This product is GREAT! We spray her shoes when she takes them off, and we spray her feet right before she puts her socks on. She still has a very mild foot odor, but it's no longer something you can smell across the room. It's what a clean normal person might have. Plus, the product is natural, and smells nice (eucalyptus-tea-tree-minty smell). The only down side is that we use it so much we're almost out very quickly! Some reviews noted that the odor came back a few days after using this product. The essential oils in it are antibacterial. They will kill the current bacteria living on feet and/or in shoes. If you wear the shoes for a few days, yes, they will start to smell again. Of course they will! This complaint is like saying "I put deodorant/antiperspirant on my armpits three days ago, and now my armpits are smelling." The bacteria that cause the foot (and armpit) smell will come back. Use this every time you wear your shoes, and you'll be happy. We LOVE this! Thank you to the makers for creating a product (that's natural, yay!) that we can safely and effectively use with our little girl.

Doesn't work as well as advertised
I have never had a problem with smelly feet until recently when I somehow got an infection that I somehow contracted from my feet and legs area. Now I have noticed my feet really smell sometimes and it caused my slippers to really smell bad so I got this to stop the odor but I was pretty disappointed when it didn't work at all for me. Now, you have to keep in mind that my slippers are moccasin style and have a thick fur lining and I wear them barefooted so I am not sure if any odor spray will help them. I may just have to replace the slippers now that the infection is gone and my foot odor problem is now under control. This product may work for regular shoes but I can't really say since I don't have any odor problem with my regular shoes.

Peppermint, lavender, tea tree, eucalyptus, and thyme
I actually knew that you could use essential oils to deodorize feet and shoes. When I was first getting into essential oils a couple years ago, it was one of the uses that actually seemed practical to me. I would douse cotton balls in lavender and put them in my stinky shoes, and that would work pretty well, temporarily. I like to go for runs and I am really stubborn about it so I will run even if it is pouring down rain—and even once when part of my street was flooded. My shoes never dry right, even if I sit on the floor with my hair dryer and give myself a sulky backache for fifteen minutes or however long it takes. You are really not supposed to throw shoes in the washer or dryer, though I have in the past. They just get torn up and then they don’t last. This spray was what I was looking for. It’s natural and I find it really effective in getting rid of odors in my old shoes. Yes, it can also be just sprayed and rubbed on your feet almost like a lotion. I did that before bed once and I liked how it made my aching feet feel tingly and refreshed and I could smell it as I was falling asleep. It is a very minty scent. I catch a lot of the tea tree, which is a known deodorizing ingredient. Total ingredients, in order of quantity, are: water, peppermint, lavender, tea tree, eucalyptus, thyme, and sodium benzoate, and those are the only ingredients, which is a nice, short, healthy list. The bottle is 4 ounces and you don’t need more than a couple sprays to cover even a really stinky shoe, so I think that will be plenty. Some things four ounces wouldn’t be much, but this is a good size. It’s fragrant but it doesn’t smell medical or anything. It’s just a sweet, refreshing mint. It makes me want to breathe it in. I feel like it’s clearing my lungs.I received this deodorizing spray for a discount in exchange for my honest feedback, but my thoughts are my own. Thanks!

Was Offered No Incentive To Review. Product Stinks.
Haven't typically had foot odor problems until I bought a couple pair of "Denali" brand suede shoes. Odor from my feet after wearing these shoes would fill the room and cause your eyes to tear. I ordered a bottle of this spray, then picked up some Odor-Eaters shoe pads at a store. The Odor-Eaters seemed to cause 90% of the odor to disappear. When the Funky Feet spray arrived, I used it before and after wearing the shoes , for 4 days. Right out of the bottle, the FF spray's aroma reminds me of Absorbine Jr, a topical foot medicine available OTC in the 50s through 80s. After wearing the shoes WITH the Odor-Eaters and FF spray, the odor is as loud as before, though somewhat altered, And now I have a raging case of some kind of athlete-foot-like fungus that I did not have before. Last I had athlete foot was many years ago and I have to attribute this latest case to this spray, as I have no risk factors for it (gym, athletics, poor foot hygiene). I am prompted to share my experience with this product solely because I think prospective users should hear from someone who had no other urging to review it. I feel the 2 star rating may be a little generous, but there are worse products than this one, and 1 star should be reserved for them.

It's great when the spray pump decides to work.
It has a good concentration of tea tree oil and it works great in my work shoes. But the sprayer started going south right after I cracked the package, and has been a chore to use ever since. Hopefully the second bottle will not have the same issue. As I said it does work well in the shoes (they are expensive, I'm on my feet all day and I'm trying to preserve them). But I do prefer an aerosol; I just wanted to try this one.
