siku 1011, Tram, Metal/Plastic, White/Red, Standard siku railway hitches for connecting to other trains

This is one of the sturdiest toys that I've bought for my 4.5 year old kids. It has survived their handling for more than a year now, so I'm really happy with it. I think the makers have done a fine job. The detailing is very good.

EN: Siku quality. The pantograf is made of plastic, not very suitable for small children, because they can put it into their mouth and break it (and so accidentally swallow it). It is 3+ which is correct for most children. FR: Qualité Siku. Le pantographe est en plastique, ce qui n'est pas vraiment recommandable pour les petits enfants parce qu'ils pourraient le mettre en bouche et le casser (et donc de l'avaler accidentellement). C'est un 3+, ce qui est correct pour la plupart des enfants.

My son loves it

The model is well detailed and makes an excellent gift to kids (>3 years of course) OR to a 21 year old like me who is a total sucker for scale models. The wheels are of the free-rolling type and there is no pull-back action. The hooks on the front and back, pantograph on top (part mounted on the roof) and the wheels seem like the only plastic parts. The rest is die-cast metal. The hooks on either ends can be used to join two or more trams together. Overall, a great product and for Rs. 195, you really cannot complain. Amazon delivery was fantastic and received the product within a day.
