Opti-Lube XPD All-Season Diesel Fuel Additive - Gallon (2 Gallons (Treats 1024 Gallons))

This product is recommended for older diesel engines. My 2003 Silverado 2500 HD has been using it for the last 10 years and the fuel injectors have been going strong ever since. I compared gas mileage with and without the additive and it looks like it’s better by 4mpg better with it. This was a 2 month test tracking mileage and fuel used with and without the additive. A rudimentary test but good enough. Most important was not having any engine problems in the past 10 years. Not bad for a 22 year old 3/4 ton truck with 200k+ miles.

I've been using this for 3 or 4 years now, and it's great. Gained a few mpg and I'm at 300k miles now without an injector failure. My Cummins also seems a bit quieter when it's used. I usually fill up at a quarter tank and add this every other fill up. Highly recommend with it's great lubricity properties. Well worth the money.

Use with every fillup for the last 50,000 miles in my 6.7 powerstroke. Great preventative maintenance

I purchased this after multiple independent testers gave it high praise for lubricating the fuel system which was my highest concern. I've been using XPD for a while now with confidence that it'll help my 200K mile Ford dually live much longer and help me delay a $100K replacement cost as long as possible.

Just purchased my second gallon Does everything I wanted engine a little quieter and somewhat better fuel mileage if test results are true the fuel pump is getting more lubricant and should last longer I have tried several different brands and this seems to be the best

I had starting difficulty with a brand new diesel engine with temperatures that had dipped to -15 F the night before, and was unsure of the diesel fuel blend (summer grade vs. winter grade) in the tank. I was interested in using kerosene as a winter-grade diesel fuel but worried about potential loss of lubricity compared to DF-2 (summer-grade diesel fuel), and believe that this product should improve lubricity for the kerosene fuel.According to the test results from an independent test lab, this product is excellent for improving lubricity of diesel fuel. It is also advertised as reducing the gel point of the fuel, and improving the cetane number, both important for winter operation. It is further claimed to have deposit control and remover, and water demulsifier.Engine starts great with the additive and added kerosene, but the system has not been tested at very low temperatures (< 0 F).

Diesel additive. I don’t know if this improves anything but it cant hurt.

This stuff does the job as advertised. I have a 34 gallon tank and run about 20 oz of this with it. Helps with cold stars as well. Tested against an untreated tank. With the additive, truck started at -10, first try not plugged in right away. Quiets injectiors and definitely boost power. Highly recommend this product.
