I give it 5 stars because I am sure that it works great for Sceptre TV's, however, I ordered by mistake thinking it was universal for any TV.Outside of my mistake, it arrived quickly after it shipped and felt good in the hand. The buttons seem to cover anything you might need to do on any device, and the color scheme was very nice.

This control remote did not work, I bought two separate pair of battery's and it did not work, please do not buy.

the remote works fine and does what it claims but it is a cheaper remote and you can feel the difference in quality and use

Worked perfectly for my TV, had to purchase this as a replacement since my 2 yr old broke my original one that came with my TV in several pieces. He in that throwing and braking things stage. Happy this was available and happy it worked because I am not tech savvy when it comes to tvs and remotes lol

I bought this because the remote I got with the tv needed to be banged every time we needed to use it. The replacement remote ended up with the same problem. I think sceptre remotes don't work well. It was delivered quickly, otherwise the remote is a pain in the neck. Update the remote no longer works! Update it appears the batteries were bad on the one they provided and one I changed out the batteries the remote worked well. The batteries went out too quickly

Good quality had it for months now with no problems. Didn't even have to set it up! Instantly worked for my tv!

Good replacement remote. Only missing one button, the Home/MHL button. That button was very useful to switch quickly to HDMI2/MHL. Now that I'm into home automation it would have been nice to have a button I could program into my Android Universal Remote and Google Home to auto turn on the TV and switch to to the right source.
