John Deere Men's 2" Logger-Style Suspenders

I know suspenders are a little out of fashion however I don't think anyone can argue that they are on the top of the list of function. I had a constant problem with my pants slipping down so I bought a cheap pair of suspenders and they work for a little while but didn't last. I bought these suspenders and they are Head and Shoulders Above the Rest in regard to Quality and comfort. Couldn't recommend the more for people who are tired of pulling their pants up all the time.

The suspenders are good, I just wish they would have spent a little more attention on the snaps that hold them in place. I'm a trucker, and when I climb into my truck seat, theres a 50% chance that I will unhook one of the back snaps. While it's a minor setback to reattach them, you have to fuss with three smaller pieces, get them back into the right order, and reattach them. Again, it's minor, but for as long as these have been around, why have we not come up with a better way to attach them?

These suspenders (braces) are made by the Carhart group but with rebranded leather and adjustment clips.I expect these to last for at least three years with daily wearing.Carhart are the best I have found. They retain their stretch and the clamps grip all materials well.Good job!

As a suspenders wearer for many years due to my work, I have purchased many different brands of suspenders and found John Deere suspenders to be the most rugged and durable. The finest feature about them is that the clips that fasten the suspenders to my pants clamp tightly and the good clamping action lasts a long time. With other brands, it can be as little as in a few days that they flip off my pants, leaving a strap danging and my pants not being held up high where I need them to be for the sake of my work. Order a pair of McGuire-Nicholas 112 2" $8.54 and a pair of John Deere 2" Logger $19.00. Bought them because I was having a lot of back pain. Dr. said I was having to wear my belt too tight and to try suspenders. My body shape (up-side-down pyramid) (6' - 270 Lbs) required me to pull my belt pretty tight to keep for sliding down for my fat waist to my smaller hips. Both suspenders reduce reduced the back pain dramatically. John Deere was twice the price of McGuire but there are some differences. Both stay attached to the pants well. The McGuire are stiffer and the back straps are stretchy; the John Deere are much softer and the entire length is stretchy. Comes down the costs vs comfort. I wear both but McGuire requires TeeShit under them.

After using these for a while I discovered that the rear hardware was scratching - gouging, actually - any wooden chair. The corners of the clasps are large and sharp enough to do damage. Beware.Strong and bold, with huge hardware, these are really heavy duty suspenders. Lots of adjustment. However, there is very little stretch in them, so they need very precise adjustment, and go all slack when you sit down. Would be more comfortable with more stretch.

It's exactly what I needed for the leather pants I purchased on Amazon!After reading reviews,anyone with pants like mine got these suspenders for it.Now my pants are ready for wearing,since I first tried them on without any and it wants to slip down due to it's slippery nature.Thank you very much for helping my little dilemma,I suppose a belt would've worked but I wanted something to keep it up since a belt doesn't help much in defying gravity and action reaction!

Oh, I like them fine. They hold my pants up, and I couldn't expect them to do more for me. HOWEVER, I am pretty short at 5' - 7" and I have these adjusted within a few inches of their longest. They are not easily stretched (tough stuff), and I can't imagine how someone much taller than I am could wear these without getting a continuous wedgie.

Exellent product.Used in conjunction with snickers work pants.I have snickers and bahco braces to compare these with and from my observations these braces are thicker, wider and as a result warmer than the aforementioned competetors so if your working in a hot environment they may make you feel a bit warmer than normal.That said on the quality side they are far superior in material quality and most noticably the fittings from the elastic to the clips instead of being of a pressed steel material are made of rounded bar of about 1/8 inch diameter steel.The back joint is a very pleasing double leather stitched diamond section with the logo branded in .Adjustment is easy and secure and i am sure they will be part of my kit for decades.I had to get this product from the United States and they were expensive but in my opinion great value for money.

Bought for grandson he’s says no complaints.

Very comfortable. Good clips that don’t slip. Not as elastic as some but holds jeans up better.

These are nice, but too small to labeled men’s one size fits all. Im6’, 230 lbs. these did not fit, they were way too short.
