It's super easy to use and has good sound and it's durable I bought this for my one year old cause she loves music and I only had my phone to play music at the time and I wouldn't let her carry my phone to have the music so I got her this. This she can carry around drop dipped in water even and it still works just fine! I did dry it right away though so it wasn't exposed for a long time in water but still a good little speaker. Only bad thing is when it's at 20% it beeps because of low battery like at least get to 10% before you beep during my music. And I use it at night for her to listen to when she's going to sleep so to have it hit 20% and start beeping has startled her awake. But that's the only negative and if you just pay attention to how much battery is left it's easily avoided.

I received this yesterday for use in the shower. I have to say that the sound is very good with a better tone range than I expected in a speaker in this price range. At about 60% volume it was quite loud enough in the shower to overcome the noise of the water. At higher volumes it gets quite loud and there didn't seem to be a lot of distortion. I also like the fact that it's square and not round, as will sit nicely on the shelf in the shower and not roll away. It can also be hung and comes with a clip but no cord. The one thing I am concerned about though is the durability. First, the whole case is made of hard plastic with the exception of a rubber cover that goes over the connection ports. If you were to drop it onto a hard surface, like the floor of the shower, I expect that it will break. Also, and I've seen complaints about this failing in other reviews, I think that the charging port is a weak spot, in part because it takes a fair amount of force to push in and remove the charging cable, and therefore the solder joint between that connector and the circuit board is under a lot of stress when plugging in and removing the cable. If that joint fails the unit can no longer be charged. In order to lessen the chances of that joint failing I'd suggest not charging the unit unless it actually needs it. I know lots of people, myself included, are in the habit of hooking up things like this to the charger after only using them a little while just to make sure that it's fully topped off. I would suggest waiting until this unit is near low battery before charging, unless you have a specific reason to need it to be fully charged right then, say like before taking it to the beach where it's going to run for a long time. This will lessen the number of times the solder joint is put under stress. Also, I'd suggest being as gentle as possible when pushing in and removing the charging cable, as opposed to just yanking the cable out when it's charged, as those quick pulls are more likely to cause the solder joint to fail. As I indicated above the charge cable connector fits very snugly on the unit I have and the temptation would be to give it a good firm pull when it's time to remove it rather than slowly coaxing it loose. All in all though for the price I think it's a good deal as far as the sound goes, and only time will tell how durable it is. Update 7/28/25 I am pleasantly surprised that my concern over durability was unfounded. I'm still using this speaker three years later. Not sure if it's still sold or not, but mine still works. I have been careful about not charging it unless it needs it, and I've been careful about pulling out the cable after the charge has finished, but that said it still works fine and the battery is holding up well, perhaps because I've resisted the temptation to keep topping it off rather than waiting for the low battery indication.
