Model Trailways Western Stagecoach MS6001 Wood & Metal Model Kit 1:12 Scale

I really enjoyed building this model. As others have mentioned, it’s a fairly advanced build. I probably have between 75 and 100 hours into it. I generally build scratch built models and do not paint them. I like the look of the wood. I also changed it up a bit. I didn’t like the boot cover so I added the chest back there. (That’s where they keep the payroll to pay the soldiers, you know)I thought I was finished with this model till I wrote this review. Now I have to make a little rifle to place by the driver seat. Have to protect the payroll from robbers.

it was short some parts,took over two weeks to get them.a lot of hand carving the parts,and the plans are hard to follow.

This is an extraordinary model Kit. I have been scratch building for at least 50 years and this "KIT" is a major challenge. I think it should be noted in your ads that this model requires the skill of a master builder.

I liked everything about this stagecoach build,especially that all parts are laser cut and fit perfectly. I followed each step as listed in the manual and could verify these steps using the large schematic plan included.

Great kit but needs a little better instructions. Haven't finished it yet. carriage done working on coach

I have built hundreds of models scale RC planes, ships,cars and this is one of the most frustrating the laser cut parts a nice and fit very well, the cast parts need to be straightened out and when you have to drill them they are very hard, how can something that bends so easily be so hard to drill the kit includes 3 drill bits and the won't last very long. So far I have built most of the under carriage and it wasn't fun. Would I recommend it no not unless you are a master builder!
