Makes cutting melon a whole lot easier! I hate cutting melon into slices, so messy. This gadget means the whole side is inside as well as the juice! Needs some practice first though.Used it once and lost it. My melon got old waiting on me to locate it, so I ended up buying another gadget! Love it!

quality is fine. function is acceptable. Maybe will get better with practice. It cuts through the watermelon with minimal waste, but my kids were a bit underwhelmed. Seems they would rather have the rind to hold onto. This device is kind of a solution with no problem...

My wife wanted to try this Watermelon Slicer since she is always preparing watermelon during the summer. It works great. You have to experiment for a few minutes to find the method that works for you. We cut the melon in half long ways, then cut that half again long ways - so you end up with 1/4 of the melon cut long ways. Easy to cut out all the melon with the slicer. As I said you may have to experiment the first time to find the method that works for you. Excellent kitchen tool and a real time saver. Very hard to control even width. Great concept poor execution.

I love water melon but hate cutting it up. This product makes it so much easier and is much less messy. This slicer seems well constructed and did not hurt my hand trying to use it. Reasonably priced and well worth the money.
