I was thrilled to find this fossil along Lake Michigan's shoreline a few weeks ago. Its details are distinct and exquisite and a rare specimen of a horn fossil. I have drilled a 2.1 mm hole and fitted it with a silver pinch bail and an 18 inch bold big ball, stainless steel ball chain complete with large clam clasp. The stone measures 1 inch. This stone is natural as-found and simply rubbed with oil to bring out its natural markings, which you can do also.
