The adhesive is not staying stuck. It may be because it is in a bathroom where there might be a little extra moisture. The locks are working well in the kitchen though.

I have many grandchildren who are young and want to get into everything! I was so happy when these 8 safety locks arrived. They are really made great and are so easy to put up. I actually thought I'd have to put screws in or something like that. You just figure out what cupboard or drawer or toilet etc... You want to keep the little ones out of... And you stick the pads where you want and that's it. The locks are easily opened which is a blessing as I thought it would be hard to open once applied! I'm really impressed with the high quality of these safety locks from Totsproof! I'll be looking for other products from this seller as this is a really great set!!I shop extensively on Amazon and have done so since it was founded on July 5th 1994. That's about 22 years. When I opened the package with these straps, the first thing that struck me was the density of the materials. I was a bit worried that they would be too stiff to fit around a corner, but the 3M adhesive totally alleviated my worries. I know an engineer who works at the company, so I trust their adhesives more than anything else. The nice thing about the adhesive used on these straps is that the straps can be removed without leaving a mess. I wouldn't be putting them on sheetrocked walls, but solid materials like wood, porcelain, and metal should be no issue at all. Put a fingernail against the edge of the adhesive and roll it inwards, lifting the plastic gently. This removes the ends of the strap without damaging the surface, and perhaps even allows you to reuse them on another item. Just make sure the surface you are adhering to is clean, free from dust, and is dry. Otherwise the adhesive won't bond properly.I have nothing bad to say about these. My 1-year-old can't operate the latches, and they have a very satisfying *click* when they close. I feel safe using these in my home.

It took my 22 month old grandson a day to figure these out and open them with little effort.

Good product but sometimes they don't stay in place

These were a gift so I am not sure how they work. However I read the instructions and it seemed like they were a very easy installation. They also looked sturdy in the package.

this does not stick longer. waste of money.

These look like they would do the job but our little grandbaby didn't get into anything!!! Good locks but wonderful grandson!!!
