This extender comes with 3 options to set it up.After several attempts with options 1 to 2. Without any luck, i tried the 3rd option.I did have some sucsess ,but not complete.Anyway after restetting the extender yet again, i tried option 1 again WPS.Bingo it worked.But the IP address brings back results oF 404 error page not found or unable to reach this page.I over came this problem BY going into my router settings to find all devices connected to my network.Then copied and pasted this into my web browswer search bar (the one at the very top of the page)And everything was sweet thereafter.I did send a email off to the the company but as of writing this reveiw i have heard nothing back.PS I use a windows Desktop PC, using a windows laptop may be easier for some, due to them showing all wifi networks,not that striaght forward on mine.(Maybe i misssed something).

If you don't have wps button on router it's a pain to install, but tv streaming better now it's done, just be prepared to have half a day free to set up!!!

I bought this for my student accommodation since our internet box is located on the ground floor and my room is on the 3rd.Up until this point, I was having to use my 4G at some points as the internet would drop to 0.3mb download and non-existent upload.I was recommended by a friend to purchase a range extended and recommended some of the more expensive names.I bought a couple from Argos, and this from Amazon and I have to say this is as useful as the big names.I've managed to go from signals of >1mbps to over 25 now. (It even has an ethernet port so you can plug it directly into a computer aswell for less ping)For the money, it is an amazing product and I would honestly recommend it to anyone who has issues with weak signal or needs a wired connection closer to them.

After installing it, the signal was not optimal as soon as I plugged it outside the room where the router is.Instead of giving a green signal, it was orange, which means the signal is medium strength even though the distance was just about 10 metres away.I was happy to accept a medium signal, but when I tried to use it with my laptop, I needed a password to link to the router and in the user manual it is written that the password would be the same as the one written on the router it is getting the signal from. But, the password is not working and my email sent to the email address given in the manual is not getting any reply. In the manual it is suggested that one contacts HOHADOY via email for a reply within 24 hours, but my reply has not come after 6 days!Perhaps it does not work with VODAPHONE?I am returning it.Disappointing

I live in a 4 person houseshare. Wifi signal was good in every room but mine (one floor up and across from the router) - I couldn't stream videos without buffering, and I couldn't even recieve or send emails or open webpages from my laptop. I bought the extender hoping that it would enable me to work in my room. There were 3 options to set the extender up - our router had a WPS button, meaning I could click a button on the router, click a button on the extender, and they were connected. I moved the extender into the upstairs hall, and now I can happily stream videos in my room without buffering, and my laptop will connect to te internet with good signal strength. Thank you!

Great use this everyday for work. Does knock out sometimes but only for a couple of seconds and it reconnects.

I plugged it in and it had a green light for a few days. I didn’t notice any marked difference in my devices. Working from home I needed a stable internet supply but it kept dropping before I purchased the booster. It appears this booster was not as effective as I thought it would; wifi signal was still dropping but not as much as before. I guess you get what you pay for
