A Prudent Choice For Any Prepper's Pantry - This Soup Mix Is Pure Gold!
As a seasoned prepper, I've been on the continuous hunt for the ultimate nutritious, long-lasting, and versatile food source. After decades of tinkering with food storage, I've come to realize that the best preparations are those that offer more than mere sustenance. They also need to bring flavor, comfort, and a semblance of normalcy in a situation that is anything but normal. That's where the Vegetable Soup Mix by Its Delish comes into play. The first thing that caught my attention with this soup mix is the package's sheer size - a generous 2 lbs bag that is clearly designed for long-term storage. Upon opening the bag, I was pleasantly surprised to see a colorful mélange of dried vegetables, lentils, and peas - it was like holding a rainbow in my hands! This isn't your typical, run-of-the-mill soup mix with cheap filler ingredients, folks. It's a powerhouse of nutrition, flavor, and texture. Taste testing this mix in my everyday kitchen before it made it into the prepper pantry, I found that it cooks down into a thick, hearty soup that's downright delicious. It's the kind of soup that warms you from the inside out and that tastes like it's been simmering on your stove all day - when in reality, it only took about 30 minutes to prepare. Adding a little seasoning or protein turns it into a meal that's satisfying enough to please even the pickiest eaters. One of the things I appreciate most about the Vegetable Soup Mix is its versatility. It's not just a soup base; it's a staple ingredient that you can use to stretch other meals. Add a handful to a pot of chili or a casserole to boost the nutritional content and give your meal a hearty, rustic touch. It works beautifully in any recipe that calls for a medley of vegetables. Its Delish has really hit a home run with their shelf-stable packaging. The sealed, resealable bag keeps moisture and pests at bay, ensuring that your soup mix stays fresh for years to come. This is crucial for us preppers. It's not just about having food on hand; it's about having food you can trust, even if it's been sitting on your shelf for a while. In short, this Vegetable Soup Mix is exactly what I look for when I'm adding to my long-term food storage: it's nutritious, versatile, tasty, and reliable. I've already ordered a few more bags to add to my prepper pantry, and I suggest you do the same. You never know when you might need a hearty, comforting meal at a moment's notice. With Its Delish Vegetable Soup Mix in your pantry, you can rest assured that you're prepared for whatever comes your way. That, in my book, is worth its weight in gold.

Great Flavor and Huge Time Saver
WOW, I just made the best soup I have ever made with these vegetables. This is the first time I have ever used dehydrated food and I was on my case for spending so much money until this soup blew me out of my chair. It was super easy. No chopping. No buying so many veggies that I could never use them all before they go bad. The ratio I used was 2 cartons of chicken broth to a full cup of dehydrated vegetables. I first sautéed one onion chopped, then added the broth, some garlic, basil, oregano, cracked pepper, and a splash of Cayenne for extra flavor then added one can of cannellini beans, drained and rinsed, and shredded cooked chicken; turned the heat to high to bring it to a boil then reduced to simmer for 1 hour. It was perfectly cooked. I have to make a caveat that this cooking time had to do with me living at 6500 ft. So, I have to do everything as high altitude. Cooking time may not require an hour elsewhere. Upshot, buying another jar of this. Decided it is definitely worth the cost.

Good flavor. makes great easy quick soup
I make quick vegetable soup with this with 1 part veggies to six parts broth/stock and a touch of canned diced tomatoes to fill it out. Sometimes I'll throw in some canned chicken. If I microwave it five minutes and let it sit five minutes, I have a decent vegetable soup with only a little extra parsley dust in it. I like easy and fast.

Very tasty
Been looking at this for months and wasn't sure if I should buy it or not. Finally I did and was pleasantly surprised how tasty it was. It made a delicious soup, also I put some in a spinach quiche and it added extra flavor.

Perfect for soups, omelets, and other dishes containing vegitables.
Purchased this for use with ramen and it works great. You may want to increase the amount of broth to compensate for the juice the vegetables absorb while reconstituting. I like this brand as it contains no potatoes, something lots of the others use as filler. I will definitely stick with this brand in the future. Quality: Company was specific with the contents of the package where others try to over stuff their product with potatoes.

Very good flavor, but pricey
I bought this because I like to add things to GF noodles and broths for quick lunches. A variety of ways, but I found these too finely chopped to my liking. Plus these were quite pricey by comparison. The quality was good, but in my package it had quite a bit of pure dust. I am looking for something with a bit more body, and hope I can find one. Possibly this is just the nature of mixed vegetables of this sort, but I've found a huge variety in other things, such as mushrooms. It's a trial and error issue, and I will pay more close attention to comments regarding the issues important to me.

I was incredibly disappointed. I will take responsibility for not being more aware of what the amount of soup mix would look like based on the weight advertised but the bag in the picture is misleading and appears to be a Large restaurant size bag of mix. It Is NOT. This is a bag with around 4-5 cups of mix. I would not recommend! Do your own price comparing I was able to find an almost identical product at my local grocery store for $4 bag (less than $20 for the same amount of product)

I was incredibly disappointed, I take responsibility for not knowing how much product to expect based on weight hence the 2 stars BUT the picture used in the ad is 100% misleading, it looks to be a very large restaurant size container in reality the container is SMALL! Maybe 5-6 cups of product. Absolutely Not worth the price. Check your local grocery stores, when compared I was able to source a soup mix with almost the same ingredients for $4 a bag (less than $20 for the same amount of product) the only missing ingredient was the beets To be fair and honest the soup mix does taste great (I use it in rice) but not worth the price in any way
