Love this brush, have purchased several over the years.

This brush is great for brushing out tangles and even giving yourself a scalp massage. I have hair that breaks easily and this brush has helped cut down on my breakage.

Update 6/26/24: I have purchased another of the brushes but the square version now for travel. The part of the brush that holds the bristles does not pull out like I've had happen in other brushes (or, well, at least I haven't had that happen yet anyways). The first brush I purchased from the re-sale store before the original 2021 review here has had the clear coat seal start to come off over time but its still just as functional and has held up to many washes. Boyfriend (now husband) has not reported any issues with his brush yet and it works well for him. This brand will be my go-to as long as I can find it. Original: I initially found this product at a resale store and bought it on a whim. Its lasted longer than the plastic ones from Wal-Mart that I used to buy. My boyfriend needed a brush for his hair so I bought him this one and he loves it. I also bought the brush in the square shape as well. Solid brand really. Very pleased with the longevity, smoothness, and lack of strong smells from it upon first opening.

Works well and does not produce any static for fly away hair. Good product...I bought 2!

This is my second one of these. Well made pretty sure it's bamboo. Works well and my hair gets less tangled and it doesn't pull as much as other brushes

Horrible. It's tough to brush long hair. I've had it for just about 2 months. Bristles are breaking off. Hair tangles.

I love Cala bamboo hair brushes. I have used the large sized one for about 4 years. I have medium/long length, fine, naturally curly hair. This hair brush is gentle and works great for daily use. After about 4 years the bristles started to wiggle in place; can you believe not a single bristle fell out after being used daily for that long? The little green rubber tips on the end of the bristles did wear off after probably year 1 or 2. That didn't have any effect on the function of the hair brush. I wanted to purchase a replacement just in case, before I actually needed it. Turns out this is the small one - which the product description does say 2 x 2 x 3in. I couldn't find a listing for the larger size on Amazon. I'm still happy with the purchase; I'm just glad this hair brush is still being made.

I have a sensitive scalp. I don’t recommend this brush at all. And it brakes the hair
