A real honest review.
I spent 40 minutes reading everyone's reviews and was very hesitant to order because all the negative comments but I ordered just because I knew I couldn't find a better product for cheaper. The product arrived in a large box but was a little beat up looking but once opened it was nicely packed and no damage was done to any of the pieces. The directions are common sense and straightforward so I don't understand everyone's confusion. If you have a power tool it makes it 2838272 times faster but if you don't- it may take a little longer (Just like ikea) It took my husband and I less than 10 minutes to put a chair together. Once the product is made it's identical to the picture. It's not slick but has a texture which is a good thing Cleaning wise and adds a nice look to it. I ordered white and it is a vibrant white. Hard plastic, real wood, and tough metal. My only complaint (but is an easy fix) if you don't have a rug or carpet they will slide. I have ordered many things from ikea and you can't tell the difference with this item. My 6"3 husband fits nicely on the chair and it holds him well. Very comfortable to in! I have a lower table and these are bit lower than normal chairs but either way I like them! I will definitely order again in the future.Edit:A few months later - the screws constantly are popping out. :(

Great Looking, Durable and Easy to Assemble Chairs at a Great Price, Long - Term Sitting results in numb butts
Chairs come in a pretty small box, and unpacks easily. There are instructions but they are somewhat unclear and it takes a little bit of figuring out but in a nutshell, the tabs that connect to the chair itself that attach to the legs are directional, The legs are all the same direction so no worries there, but just make sure to point the metal tabs that connect the chair in the right directions.Pro tip - avoid the terrible tools in the box and use a power drill and a socket wrench otherwise, much time and swearing will ensue.Assembly is pretty easy after you figure out the first one.Comfort: Decent to sit in for 30-60 minutes at time, however a cushion for this would make it really nice! One start taken off because my butt falls asleep after some duration.Durability: My friend and I both weigh about 180-200 lbs and we sit in these chairs with no problem so far. With daily use and having other people over in them, there are no bending of tabs or any durability issues so far. Plastic is surprisingly resilient and don't stain too bad. Melamine foam erasers are the way to go with these chairs for cleaning.Style: Awesome. everyone thinks these chairs are $100+ each! They definitely look amazing and are very contemporary. Definitely worth the money and these are a great value. Great looking chairs.Overall: I would highly recommend these to anyone who are looking for this style of chair. I was hesitant at first because people mentioned the durability and assembly but the truth is that these chairs are pretty easy to assemble if you can just sit down and get one put together and they are perfectly sturdy for anyone around 200lbs +/- 50lbs. For those who complain the instructions are unclear and hard to understand, yes they are but its not hard to figure it out.

Great chairs for the price
Great chairs for the price! It took me close to three hours to assemble them, but I probably could have done it in two had I not been so focused on Breaking Bad (Season 5 is so engrossing). The instructions aren't too descriptive, but they're is a handy sheet with graphs! Most of it is pretty straight forward with the sheet. My only advice is to make sure you arrange the A, B, C, and D brackets EXACTLY how it shows on they graph. The four brackets are similar, but if you don't arrange them as show, then they will not align with the chair top. Also, make sure to leave those brackets slightly loose until you affix them to the plastic top, for flexibility. Thirdly, even though the instructions show x4 wooden legs as if they're identical, they are not. There are two front legs and two back legs. You'll need to discern the difference and construct accordingly. Some of the reviews mentioned that they were small or even resembled kid's chairs, but I have to wholeheartedly disagree. The plastic chair part is actually rather large. I fit in it with inches to spare and I'm about an average-width 26-year old male.Height-wise, they aren't extremely tall like some, but as a guy who's almost 6'2", they're the perfect height with my IKEA dining table. If they were any taller my legs may not fit under the table. At any rate, I think they're of average dining chair height. The large top and small legs, fitting with the mid-century modern look they're going for may make the legs look small, so maybe that's where people are getting that, but still, I can't see this being anywhere near kiddy chair-sized.TL;DR: Great, cheap chairs! Fit perfectly with basic IKEA dinner table! Two to three hour assembly not so bad! Not too small! Read my first paragraph for some extra assembly instructions. It will help.

Substandard quality
Well these were extremely underwhelming. The good: they look cool and feel ok to sit in. The bad: the all fell apart instantly or broke while assembling. The bolts werent long enough to turn into the seats by more than one full turn so they backed out almost instantly. One of the four seats the holes didn’t line up properly so I could only anchor in three places. One of the four seats the bolt stripped out trying to turn in. So only half worked right after assembly. I have rebuilt homes, and yet these chairs were getting the best of me. The short answer is with such small bolts, very little margin for error in assembly and design. One of the chairs the plastic seat ripped where it was anchored so the seats are a little too thin to hold any weight at all. I’m 210lbs which is not small by any means, but certainly shouldn’t collapse a standard chair. Sooo down to one chair less than a dozen times I’ve sit in them.
