MMG Helmets Open Face Pilot Style Integrated Flip Up Visor DOT - Model 28

I have had many helmets before when I was younger... Now that I am retired, I bought a scooter (150 cc) and needed a helmet to ride. I purchased this and it was GREAT!! fit very well, was comfortable and is everything that I needed. The faceplate clocks the wind with little noise and is very comfortable to ride with.

The strap is far too long and flaps in the wind even after being tightened and “held together” with the band on the chin strap buckle. The visor/shield continues to grow loose every week and you have to keep tightening it up... does the job I guess but I definitely will be spending the extra $$ next time for a Bell helmet.

This helmet a lot, it's very comfortable and is well-padded. The face shield is large and clear and does not obstruct my vision at all, in fact sometimes I forget that I have the helmet on. My only complaint, and this might be user error, is that the chinstrap slaps against the side of the helmet when I'm traveling at a decent speed and this is a bit annoying. But, I'm not sure since I'm new to scootering if this is something that I'm doing wrong or if it's a problem with the helmet itself.

Needed a helmet to match my white and black electric Sims style scooter! Perfect fit!I wear a lot of extensions in my hair like box braids and such so I went one size up to a L instead of Med so it could fit comfortably. Without extensions it fits a bit wobbly but with a bandana and tightening the chin straps it's snug as a bug and doesn't move around at all. My bf has the same one in red, they are very beautiful and sleek. Now I'm adding stickers all over it because it needs a personality!

This helmet surpassed our expectations. We ordered the medium in blue and it looks and feels great. The first time we tried to order it, the package was stolen from our building. Thankfully, the seller helped us and arranged to have another one shipped, this time with a signature at delivery. The helmet fits as expected. My boyfriend says the bottom part that touches his lower chin is a little tight, but that's nothing that won't stretch a little over time and that will vary anyways depending on the shape of your face. Overall, we are very pleased and so grateful for great customer service!! We are ready to get out on the road!

Nice helmet but the plexi shield is too close to your face. I couldn’t keep it from fogging every time I exhaled.Same as Covid; the only cure is to stop breathing.

Bought this for the motorcycle safety course. After just one day of wear, it was obvious that the padding isn’t enough. By the 3rd hour of wearing, I felt the hardness pressure of the helmet on top of my head. It gave me a headache and I kept paying attention to my helmet rather than the instructor and riding. I wouldn’t use it as my main helmet. Maybe for a passenger.

So I got hit by a truck, and the helmet protected me very well. It was hardly even scratched too! The only down side is that the visor gets snagged sometimes and doesn't stay up, but considering the first bit I'd say it's worth it!
