Bought for my mother as a Christmas present to elevate her peace lily in her bedroom. Looks quite nice and well worth the price. Very sturdy, would take a forceful shove to destabilize it. Considering purchasing another for my living room to hold up a table lamp. I imagine countless ways you could utilize this piece of furniture. Would most definitely purchase again.

Great low profile, yet classy and substantial pedestal to fit THAT corner of your room that needs something to class it up, or upon which to situate an accent piece. Assembly is easy. Only reason not 5 stars is the manufacturer, not the gracious Amazon seller, has still not figured out how to ship the marble top without chips on the edges of the marble. The chips are like fingernail clippings but are there. Easy fix for manufacturer would be some bubble wrap around the stone parts. Chips are small enough that I ordered another I like regardless! Just wanted to let the princess and the pea buyers know there's some shipping and handling involved, so don't expect perfection.

I ordered this plant stand for my upstairs foyer to complement a framed picture I've had for years, and it's the perfect match for my decor. Not only is it stunning with it's colorring and tasteful gold accents but it's also very sturdy, even on carpet. It arrived double boxed with plenty of extra protective packaging and only took just a few minutes to put together. The wood color is a red cherry vs a more orange cherry which was important to me as well. I don't understand the negative review for recieving a damaged item because in my experience, Amazon always makes it right! Things can always happen in transit no matter how well something is packaged, so I don't think a negative review is warranted in that instance when it was not the fault of Amazon or the product manufacturer, and they will make it right once you bring it to their attention.

This stand looks really nice for the $30 I paid, bought 3 of them. I like them and will use them but if there is ever an earthquake what ever sits on top of these stands will probably be the first this to fall to the floor. I will be putting something that looks very nice on them but NOT something that is valuable or important. They look nicer and better than expected and I am happy with this purchase. Easy to put together.

This small phone stand fit my needs perfectly for our conference room at work. The rich cherry wood gives the corner of the room a tasteful look; plus the stand is very functional. Since some have mentioned in previous reviews that the marble makes the stand a bit top-heavy, I decided to place a few heavier books on the bottom shelf just to be sure that it remains balanced (see photo). However, even without those books, it does seem to be reasonably sturdy. Assembly of this stand took about ten minutes - it was easy and quick with clear instructions. I would absolutely buy this plant/phone stand again if I ever needed another one.

I bought 2 and using them as plant stands for 2 large plants in corners of my dining room and the height is perfect and they are very sturdy.

The marble top is acceptable; however, because the base is so lightweight and the marble is so heavy, it is unbalanced and cannot sit on carpet without danger of toppling. The little rubber tips that go on the bottom of the base make it even more unstable on carpet, and honestly don’t help on solid surface floor. Assembly was not difficult, but the quality of materials is very substandard: the metal-looking rings on the legs are actually light-weight plastic, very similar to the little toy rings that come from gumball machines. One of the medallions was loose in the box, and the screw that should have held it in place was totally missing. And of course, the wood is actually particle board. True, the piece was quite inexpensive, but the quality matches the price.
