Great for miso soup
I use this product only for enhanced flavor when I make miso soup. It's great though, and tastes bland otherwise.

Made in Japan with no added garbage
Take a look at the instant dashi products and Amazon and you’ll notice most contain some artificial preservative or chemical you can’t pronounce….maltodextrin, starch decomposition product (what?), etc. Not this one….if you want fast Dashi without any crap, buy this. You’re welcome.

Product expires in 30 days!
Forgot to mention that the soup packets expire in 30 days. You would have to drink the soup twice a day for the next month to finish it before the product expires.Unfortunately you cannot return the product.
