impressed
Very impressed with this for the money. Connection, easy and sound is so loud, I was shocked! Could do with a touch more bass but that is being very picky as it's perfect for my holiday

Rattle speaker
Collected 01 May 2022. Speaker started to rattle terribly even on quite tracks and low volume on 12 June 2022. After 3 month of use rattling disappeared.

Fantastic value!
This little speaker is amazing for the money. I got it for £13.50. It's neat, powerful and connects really quickly to my devices. If you want a great sounding little Bluetooth speaker look no further, it sounds like something that should cost 3 times as much.

Neat and well designed speaker
The media could not be loaded. This arrived in a Smpl branded lift top box with function details on the side and speaker specifications on the bottom. The speaker comes sitting in a protective cardboard tray at the top wrapped in plastic along with the instructions, and under this you get the USB to USB-C charging lead and AUX cable. I found the instructions very easy to follow covering everything you need to know along with labelled diagrams for identification.First impressions: the speaker has a neat little rubber handle which runs into a removable seal cover for the USB-C charging port, TF card slot and AUX port, on the bottom you have a solid rubber grip pad which works well to keep the speaker nice and solid on a smooth surface, it has a Smpl logo on the front and an additional one on the main function button. I thought the button layout was a nice design and all the buttons have a good positive feel when pressed, the whole speaker has a solid sturdy feel to it.After giving it a full charge I set it up connected to my Android phone, a very simple and straight forward process, I found the sound very clear and was pleasantly surprised on how high the maximum volume was although at full volume I did think it struggled slightly with distortion, I though the speaker handled lighter music better and didn’t have a very deep base sound. The function buttons work really well moving a track forward by holding the volume up button or back by holding the volume down, I like the colour changing LED on the main button indicating the mode you are in. I tested it out using a TF card which worked well instantly picking it up when switching modes, you are limited using this function on track selection having to skip through to find a desired track but in my opinion an acceptable limitation.I tested out the phone call feature and it cuts the music on call and restarts after the call is ended but I did find the quality somewhat limited so would probably switch to the speaker on the phone although it does serve to alert you of a call. I tested out the IPX6 waterproof which means it can resist high-pressure, heavy sprays of water but not be submerged in water and it worked perfectly and after use I towel dried it with no issues.Overall a neat little speaker that performs well, it has eight hours battery life at half volume which I thought quite good although I would expect less with normal use and higher volumes, it has a good ten metre range which I did test and it seemed to hold up well with no obstacles starting to lose connection around 28 feet. I thought the TF card slot a nice addition and although the call quality is not the greatest it is usable. Overall I really like this speaker, it has a couple of really minor issues but overall they did a good job.
