Super soft and luxurious!
I never wanted to be a dancer before I bought these particular hosiery, but I might change my mind. I could literally wear these for days and still remain entirely comfortable. There is a lot of give/stretch to move with your legs and somehow, they remain in place. I bought the 'Toast' color, as I like to have a little color on my legs, and am more than satisfied with the rich hue of them. They look like Tights but feel like a really quality pair of Pantyhose so you can wear them no matter the circumstance. I half expected them to be a little on the warmer side wearing them in the heat recently, but to my surprise, they actually had an opposite "cooling" effect and left my legs comfy without getting sweaty. The picture shown for the add is a little off as they are not as shiny as high-gloss hosiery. An amazing denier balance makes them just thick enough to hide 'things' ( I could still see my toe polish ) but not too thick so your legs won't feel like they are trapped in a sausage casing all day. These hose also seem pretty durable. I don't plan to test the limits on how much punishment they can take but they are VERY resilient. You would REALLY have to TRY in order to put a run in these things. Comfy, won't roll down, and super fun to wear with just about anything. In addition, they are also sheer-to-waist so there is no discoloration from toe to top. (great for baring a little more than some leg) I highly recommend these tights/pantyhose to anyone looking to step away from cheap drug-store nylons.

Loose fitting legs, no compression
I consulted the size guide for this, which said I should order a large. I took a risk and ordered a medium, since I was right in the cusp of the two sizes and usually wear medium in clothing. The tights were perfect at the waist but too big on my legs. (Glad I didn’t get the large!) There was no chance of getting any compression out of these. I bought them for a formal event that required a lot of standing (I have POTS), and I almost passed out a few times because I had no compression and hadn’t realized that I needed to bring a backup plan. The only positive thing is that the colour was more flattering than others I’ve seen.

Didn't last as long as I thought they would
I bought these I was really excited they were pretty good but you know they ripped out a lot faster than my last pair these ones only lasted like a month and a half maybe too. Which in it's own right it's pretty good, for nylons but not so great for dance tights. The last pair I had lasted way way longer. So they're good but not that great, strong but not that strong. Very best thing about this kind of nylon is that you can wash it and wear it and wash it and wear it and it still looks good after several times and you can kneel on cement, and they'll survive a few days work some more than others I was just a little disappointed my last danskin ones were way better. But if you're not trying to make them last a long time then they are good. if your used to regular nylons, then you try these are amazing.

The Good Old Days, Improved
I haven't worn dance tights in 25 years (and even more pounds) but I was looking for something with the strength and semi-opacity that I remembered from Way Back When. I got that, and more: the Danskin tights are _more_ comfortable than I remembered! Although I sized up on the chart, I was still concerned that my hip-heavy figure would exacerbate the typical compressed thighs/falling crotch feel that I get from so many street-wear brands of hosiery. Nope! Almost as comfy as pajamas, if you can believe it.As a bonus, although I still keep my fingernails filed to an almond (read: pointy) shape, my clumsy self didn't poke right through the weave like I repeatedly did those many years ago. Oh, did the wardrobe manager used to scold me for that!Pros: comfort, opacity (more than pantyhose, less than mass-merchant tights), strength, not powdery matte but no '80s-aerobics-instructor sheenCons: limited color selection is appropriate for traditional stage, but not fashion forward

Great quality
I was very busy — lots of moving around. These tights withstood cooking, playing with children and dog fur — nothing clumped on the leggings and there was no runs in them by the end of the day.
