With the release of A Bullet for Pretty Boy's debut full length album, REVISION: REVISE, the band is about to jump into something big. Having already crushed 2010 with a sold out tour with Asking Alexandria and We Came As Romans followed by leading Christian metal band Demon Hunter, this band from Longview, TX is poised to break out as one of Metalcore's new leading contenders.

Started off thinking it was eh...
Ok. So I'm a hardcore fanatic. The Word Alive is my favorite band. I wear the beanie's, the skinny jeans, and hot topic is the shiz. But saying that I'm also very interested in actual musicianship in bands, and being in my own band, I try to write everything to a standard. Now when this album kicked off, I thought it was gonna be another Woe. Is Me. Now Woe. Is Me is a fine band, they're nothing special. These guys however had me interested after the first song... so as the second song revved up, I had nothing nothing better to do than smile and listen. The band has a blowing away quality to them. The singing is catchy, but they have some seriously awesome heavy song. A good thing to note is that it doesn't stick to anything for for too long. What I love is they have a very original, almost epic quality to them. I think these guys might just have bought themselves a fan today as soon as I listened. (Also these guys are pretty good live. I saw them with Asking Alexandria last year)

I'm Still Not Sure....
I had originally fallen in love with this album due to the short misleading previews shown on Amazon. In my opinion, the previews are the best parts of each song on this album. However, the rest of the song is pretty repetitive throughout. I had a little trouble noticing the difference between each. Most of them blend together and sound much like the one before. The vocals are quite good though and the screams are nice. They're not overdone or too strangled. I also enjoyed how nicely they tied in the electronic breakdowns. In all honesty, Bullet for Pretty Boy kinda sorta reminds me of a heavier Sleeping with Sirens.I gave this a rating of 4 due to the repetitiousness, but I still 'liked' it. I just wasn't as in love as I thought I would be.

christian bands for the win
hands down a album that needs to be put up with the greats of metalcore, i find it funny that its the christian bands that always good the hardest but are also some of the best sounding bands. but because of their religious views but idk why but they are the ones who seem to put more emotions, more time, and more everything into the music they make for each album and each concert

Fantastic Album..
While I did in fact give their first album a listen, I wasn't too drawn to it.. Then, this album was 1 year later, and after listening to the first song, I knew it was special. "The Deceiver" is such a great song that it somehow finds itself onto every mixed CD that I make.. and "Patterns" and "Tides" are two other amazing songs included on this album that, honestly, when combined with the first song, make this album amazing enough to buy on their own!! One of the BEST albums ever! Sick rhythm, amazing vocals/choruses, hardcore screams, and disgusting bass work.
