Expensive, but one of the highest quality tea’s I’ve ever bought. My husband loves it!

Premium Earl Grey with a strong robust scent/taste
I don't think you can really get a better quality Earl Grey than from TWG. Originally had TWG tea at a store in Singapore, and now my wife and I order it from Amazon or directly from their storefront (for large quantities of loose leaf). This can is great for gifts or if you can't wait for the import time from Singapore.

The aroma of this tea is exquisite. Best tea I've ever had. It's quite expensive, but it's a treat.

Old, stale and no taste - stick to the bags!
Zero aroma, zero taste - don't take the risk, stick with the tea bags. I love TWG Teas and I have had a great experience with many of their tea bags since coming across them years ago on an international flight. As I have started using a tea pot again, I decided to try the loose tea. What a disappointment! The tea has no aroma, no taste, and appears stale. As the containers are not sealed my suspicion is the tea is very old and any taste has escaped over time. Also, the online picture of the leaves appears magnified as the tea is definitely not whole leaf, although not quite dust either. It is a very broken leaf which can be a preference for obtaining a stronger brew or it can be a sign of lower grade tea. In this case the lack of aroma and taste made it difficult to tell which it is. This appears to be the same in the tea bags which taste great so again I think it comes down to poor aging. Again I wish to say that I do love TWG Teas, but I will be paying the extra money and sticking with the tea bags. [Note again that the containers are not sealed which may be a concern if you worry about tampering or contamination.]

Quality tea... with Average taste. Not worth the $
Its quite AWRAGE tea. I had really HIGH expectations of this very expensive, and very small container. I mean its a good tasting tea, good quality tea (large tea-leaves). But for $40 one would expect to be WOWED by the flavor profile of the tea. Only this tea is no better and no worse than a $20 tea from other quality reputable vendors. I was not Wowed. I was barely even hmmm-ed. The tea is so very average tasting, it was a true letdown. Will not buy again. I consider it a trap.
