Just Grill Scraper - Wood Barbeque Cleaner, Natural BBQ Accessories

I have purchased this twice now for gifts as it seems like a much better option for cleaning a grill than other types of brushes. Both of my sons were really pleased with it. I rated it a four, rather than a five as it seems a bit heavy for me to use. I may, however, purchase another one for myself anyway, just because it seems like the best way to clean off a grill.

The scraper is a Christmas gift. At first I noticed that it did not have grooves. Then I read the instructions. Great idea to have the grooves develop as one uses the product to conform to the grill it is being used on. Hope it works out as well as advertised.

I purchased the Just Grill Oak Grill Scraper and was expecting another product that would not live up to it’s expectations. I take cleaning my grill very seriously, as part of the cleaning process I preheat my grill, scrub the grates and turn the grill up high to burn off any remaining food residue before grilling any food. When I am done grilling, I once aging scrub the grill grates and I turn the grill on high to complete the cleaning process.I have lived in my home for the last 20 years and have purchased six grills. I keep my grill outdoors year round. I take the opportunity to powerwash my grill at the start of the summer months. I routinely remove my grill grates and scrub them clean, ironically with metal scouring pads. In the past I have used a metal scraper and discovered this has damaged the grill grates and shortened their life expectancy. I thought I was being safe by changing my metal scraper each year as a way to prevent metal fragments from getting into food I prepare for my family.The Just Grill Oak Grill Scraper is large and easy to handle. The instructions included additional guidance on the use of lemons and oil to clean grill grates, great recommendation. I was expecting to see groves in the Just Grill Oak Grill Scraper when I opened the package that realized why this was not the case. After a few uses the groves occurred naturally. The Just Grill Oak Grill Scraper is easy to glean and it does not rust like my metal grill grate cleaner if you accidentally leave it out overnight, which I do periodically. If I had multiple grills, I would purchase multiple Just Grill Oak Grill Scrapers.

Works well just is a bit big. Bigger then I expected even when knowing the dimensions.

Lot of hype, but fun to use. Takes muscle

This scraper is made out of very rough wood. I can foresee having to pick splinters out of my hand after each use.
