My skin was a mess after starting hormone replacement. I already had hormonal acne that was resistant to any and all treatments. That had been ongoing for a few years to varying degrees. Once starting hormones, I started having patches of eczema and dryness. My dr recommended DIM. I purchased this brand and started taking it once a day at night. My skin cleared up so fast and has remained clear. Yes, your urine turns peachy pink orange. It’s like when you take B vitamins and your urine turned bright yellow. Otherwise, I’ve had no side effects whatsoever. I will continue using this supplement. Having totally clear skin for the first time in what seems like years has been fantastic.

I bought Nutricost’s DIM 300 mg hoping for a simple way to support hormone balance. After three weeks, I did notice some positives—bloating went down, and my monthly mood swings felt less intense. The veggie capsules are easy to swallow, and the bottle is budget-friendly compared with other brands. That said, 300 mg per capsule is just more DIM than most research suggests you need (100–200 mg is plenty for many people). My biggest surprise was a consistent peach/orange tint to my urine within a day of starting the supplement. Hydrating more didn’t make it disappear, so I’m convinced the high dose is the culprit. While the color change isn’t necessarily dangerous, it’s unnerving and makes me question how much of the excess my body is flushing out unused. If Nutricost offered a 150 mg option—or if the label clearly explained why 300 mg is beneficial—I’d feel more confident. Until then, I’m splitting the capsule dose and keeping an eye on things. Good product quality overall, but the potency may be overkill for many users.

So far it has been very helpful in clearing up my hormonal acne. I am 37 and in perimenopause. After having my hormone levels tested and finding out they are all over the place, estrogen extremely low on my first test and then ridiculously high the next two tests, I did some research to match the symptoms I experience. Abnormally sevear headaches, tender and swollen breasts, breakouts on my jaw and neck, all symptoms of high estrogen, and my blood tests also showed this more times than not. Not wanting to take HRT unless necessary, I googled remedies and this supplement popped up. I've been using it for 4 weeks, began taking it the day after my menses stopped. No more headaches, I did have another cycle a week after starting the supplement but I expected that to happen knowing it helps the body eliminate excessive estrogen and a drop in estrogen is typically the bodies trigger to shed the lining about a week or more later. My acne has reduced dramatically, currently I have no new breakout flares, just healing spots from the last one I had a month ago. The acne on my chest is gone, just spots healing, and my back aswell. Definitely get your hormones tested by someone who understands how the fluctuations should appear during the various parts of the cycle. High estrogen symptoms can also overlap with low estrogen symptoms.

Eh.... didn't notice much difference with these. They did upset my stomache. Size is easily to swallow. Didn't notice any strange smell. For me wasn't that great.
