Soft- but very messy
The azure grey version of this blanket is amazing. No shedding issues at all. I bought a rich chocolate blanket for our cabin and holy shed, batman. There were orbs of brown fluff falling everywhere as soon as I unfolded it. I hoped that a good wash/dry would clean it up nicely. Nope. When I saw the amount of lint that came off that first cycle- I was looking for holes in the blanket. I'll attach a photo. This much lint came off THREE times. And the blanket is still spreading its orbs of fluff around. Since it's at our cabin with wood floors, it's simple enough to just clean up the shedding. I sure hope that it's nearly finished...These blankets are super soft. More velour like than the 'flannel' description that is listed on their tag. The weight is light but they are warm. I imagine I'll need to add a throw on my side of the bed as it gets colder, but it's fine for now. I bought a King size for our queen bed and it's the perfect size. I would definitely recommend sizing up- unless you want it to barely cover the top mattress.3 month update: for the love of god, don't order the chocolate brown. 10 times washed and hours of dryer time later, these little fuzzy demon balls are still floating around the cabin. They're on the sheets. They stick to our socks. To our walls. I truly have NO idea how the blanket doesn't have gaping holes in it- the shedding is out of control.

All that glitters is not gold
Love hate on this one. When I first bought it I loved it So very soft and warm, Beautiful. After the first washing it looks like a blanket that has been around for 10 years. Very disappointing especially after I read all the reviews. Do not waste your money.

Pink with flowers sheds a ton
I was reading reviews of people saying this releases a lot of lint and fluff, but it seemed to vary by color. I purchased the pink one with flowers, and while it's fun and super soft, I've run it through the wash 2.5 times and the dryer 2.5 times and when I open the dryer door, a lot of fluff floats into the air and it's covering the door. I'm still running it through the dryer right now to see if it'll ever stop shedding :(I attached a photo after the second time I ran it through the dryer. Bummed but I'll keep trying.

Six years later with very heavy use, still the best blanket I have ever bought.
I absolutely love love love this blanket. I bought a purple and white one I believe six years ago (maybe five, hard to tell since it’s been so long) in the queen size and I still use it as my primary cover. I have never seen this blanket shed or pill even though my cat loves to knead on it multiple times a day with her claws. It doesn’t keep you too hot, and will keep you warm at the beginning of the winter season. I would recommend throwing another blanket on top if your cold, but it keeps heat in surprisingly well. This is the softest blanket I have ever used, and I bring it everywhere. I run a professional pet sitting service, and I bring my blanket to every house I go to. Every animal I see loves this blanket and will snuggle in it, with or without me, for hours. And I wash it very frequently because of the pets, which this is safe in tonbe machine washed and dryer. Over the years it has lost just a tad bit of its softness, but nowhere near the amount of other plush, fleece, or micro plush blankets that you can get. It’s a very high quality blanket for a fraction of the cost, which makes this an ideal blanket. I’m coming back today to buy more for myself, and some as Christmas presents.

Like Being with a Golden Labrador Retriever or Cocker Spaniel!
Really soft and plush throw and not shedding at all. I have throws that I really like from other vendors as well - soft, plush, not shedding. But what I especially like about this vendor's throw is that it has all the same qualities but is also lightweight - just right when it's not so cold out. I find I turn to this throw when watching TV, because it is less hassle and effort getting up and down from the sofa to grab snacks in the kitchen. When I'm going to snuggle up for a long time without the need to get up and down, I use my other microplush fleece/sherpa throws.A comment about the color I bought: Chestnut. The photos don't do justice for the color I received. Online the color looks washed out, due to the reflected lighting used for the photos. A more accurate picture of the color is shown in the last photo by the vendor, where it is draped over a chair. Zoom in to the throw and look at the areas that are in the shadow - that's an accurate shade of the color. Essentially, it is like a warm golden brown, like that of a golden labrador retriever (dog) or a golden cocker spaniel (dog). And the softness of the throw is similar to the dog's fur, too. In fact, I always think I'm sitting with one of these dogs when I wrap myself in this throw! (Bonus: these's not shedding of hair to deal with).

Very comfortable, not really Anti-Static.
First I want to say that this blanket is very comfortable. My dog just fell asleep in it within a couple minutes. :) But I don't see how this is supposed to be Anti-Static, because I can hear the static every time I run my arms through the blanket. I can also feels the hair on my arms stand up when it gets near the blanket. The second thing (which is not a big issue, but something that bugs me) is that the tag was pretty hard to get completely off. They sewed over the tag with like 4 different rows so I had to un-sew it and stitch it back up. Other than that it feels great. Plan to lay it over my electric blanket and sleep on this blanket.Update 3/18/2017:Just updating to let you guys know that I washed it because dog got sick. I ran it on a regular wash cycle and a regular dryer cycle, and it came out perfect. There wasn't even any lint from the blanket in the lint trap. So the cobbled walnut variant of the blanket holds up to washing.

Anti static my ass. This thing is the worst I have even seen for static build up.
This thing is far from static free. I pulled it out of the bag and opened it up and shook it and "Snap Crackle and pop" this blanket is one of the most static active blankets I have ever seen. Guess they just knew what to say to sell it, No praise I'm sending this back because I will not sit there and have a blanket that hurts to use it.

nice looking blanket
just got my new blanket i hope it's nice and warm, i'll find out tonight. it looks real warm. it's fleece so it should be warm. after i had a chance to use the blanket i felt that it shed material too much like a long hair cat . don't wash it with other things, you'll never be rid of lint
