I bought this item to pull out a seat post that was stuck inside my bike frame. I bought the bike used and was attempting to change the seat when the post slipped from my fingers and straight to the tube. Arghh! I viewed a lot of You Tube videos and was discouraged over the extravagant means of how others have removed seat posts. This can't be as difficult as it seems. Why not find a tool long enough to grip the tube and pull it out? Alas- I found exactly what I needed from Amazon. I posted the question to those who have purchased this item to find out if it has teeth to grip. I was disappointed by the answers of "probably not." Well- they were wrong! It did the job beautifully. I may not ever have to use this tool again but I know what it can do. Its a small investment for a $50 used bike that I can now enjoy.

We needed to reach and close and overhead vent without getting on a stool. Worked perfectly. I’m sure we’ll find other uses.

Purchased this for a friend who had hip replacement surgery and is not permitted to bend over or cross legs. This is perfect for helping her get her shoes on and pulling up the tongue. The medical grappers they gave her do not grip as well. She has even been telling at physical therapy about them!!

Well built and worked great for getting into places your hands could fit. I use them for getting the calcium out of shower drains and grabbing the hair.

I mainly use this tool pull weeds in my garden to save my back from hurting, it works great on other hard to reach places as well.
