Good value. Can be difficult to get card in unless you press on sides to open it. It would be helpful if there was a notch on one side.

Yeah, it just ruined my chip on my debit card. Since most machines require you to use it if it has one, it’s made my most important card useless.

I ordered these mainly to protect the magnetic strips on my cards from getting scratched. My bank card came with some sort of a sleeve and my card looks as new as it did the day I received it, many years ago. That one is made of a thick, paper type of material that is impossible to rip. I thought these would be similar to that material, but they are not. These are made of something that reminds me of the cardboard things with silver coloring on one side that comes with microwaveable foods to help them heat more evenly. If you squeeze the sides of the sleeves, you can see the silver or gray coloring on the inside of each one. I suppose that is what protects your card chips from being scanned. They do seem to be laminated and pretty strong. I am careful which direction I put my card in the sleeve because the seam where they folded it is right where it would scratch the magnetic strips on my cards if I turned them the other way. The sleeves are very snug to try to fit in most wallets, but thankfully I recently purchased a wallet with larger card slots and they fit in a little easier. I would really like it better if they came with a space to write which card is in each sleeve. I can't write on the laminated surface and I have so many cards, it is a pain to have to slide each card out until I find the one I am looking for. These might be better suited to use without trying to slide them in the slots in a wallet and just put them in the zippered pocket or in a cell phone case or something. Be prepared that these are a stiff cardboard and not the soft sleeves like the bank uses.

They are thin enough to cover the card and fit into my wallet. Glad I got these.

How can I tell if these rdif credit card sleeves really work? I have no idea. However, it's a leap of faith I'm willing to take because Identity thieves are scummy and being protected is important. In the set, there are eight regular credit card​ sleeves and two passport sleeves. The inside of each looks to have a silver foil-esque coating to help with the blocking. I do hope they work. Here's something that is a huge plus: when the sleeves are on the card, they still fit perfectly in the slots of my wallet. Meaning, the sleeves do not bulk up the card at all. I only needed three of the small size. I will gift the other 5 - I'm sure people will love getting the,. I knew I would. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review. I only buy and review products I am genuinely interested in using.
