EGO Power+BA2800 56-Volt 5.0Ah Lithium-Ion Battery

I forgot to bring in my 5 amp batteries after snowblowing. They sat in the shed with no heat and minus 5 to minus ten temperature. This was this cold for about a week. They all are inside this start of winter. Love the devices and a 5 amp battery on the snowblower does very well.

The 2.5 amp battery that came with my blower does not last very long, I bought the 5.0 amp and it is a world of difference, in providing power as well as use time. I can keep the blower on Turbo high for over 30 minutes per run which just about allows me to completely blow my whole back yard. (combination of pine straw and leaves.) When I get it worn down, then I put the 2.5 battery back in and finish the job. Between the two of them, makes the blower a lot more useful. Pricey, had to really mull purchase over, I still believe it was over priced.

i bought an ego power station with two 7.5. i ordered the older 5.0 amp for my third battery. after a couple of hours of charging the screen shows charging complete. i turned on the ego power station and to my disbelief the new battery was flashing red orange green. i checked the online remedy for this and could find no solution. i then tested the power output with my 21 cu ft fridge and gained a couple of hours at 18.3 hours of run time when the fridge was idling. fridge then kicked in and starting running its 750 watts. the display screen on the ego power station went down to 5.3 hours run time. not bad since the solar generator runs at 2.5 hours run time for a 650 watt output. i finally found out in the users manual that the older ego batteries g1 and older do flash red orange green on the ego power station and is considered normal. i gained a few hours of run time by adding a third battery. after all this , i may need to buy a backup gas generator for longer runtimes. the solar charger for the power station is coming out in a month or two. but that does not solve the problem of long term power outages.

Performs well like all other Ego batteries.

I used to have a 5 amp hr, and it got my large yard done, both weed eating the big yard and mowing a smaller yard. This 7.5 amp hr has more than half its charge left after I am through. Very impressed.

Same Ego battery that came with the mower with a nice upgrade that displays a power meter on the top. Runs and charges as good or better than the original battery. Great that it’s perfectly compatible with the original charger so I don’t need a second one. The pair charge and run about the same amount of time so I can switch back and forth as I mow without losing time.

This EGO 5.0 AH Battery arrived and had July a 2023 production date. This means the battery was obviously “somewhere” for about 14 months. The serial number on the EGO Box did not match the serial number on the battery. I contacted EGO about registering the battery for its 3 year warranty. I was told that HOSALESHOP WAS NOT AN AUTHORIZED EGO SELLER AND THERE WOULD BE NO WARRANTY!!!.I contacted HOSALESHOP AND THEY BASICALLY SAID SORRY, SEND IT BACK THROUGH AMAZON..I GUESS THE OLD SAYING YOU GET WHST YOU PAY FOR IS TRUE. I WOULD BE VERY WEARY OF DOING BUSSINESS WITH HOSALESHOP, THEY REALLY DONT EVEN DESERVE A 1 STAR RATING.
