Great customer service / sturdy adjustable stand
Bought 11/15/2024 its now 02/24/2025 and the part that attaches to the adjustable stand to hold the mic is completely stripped. I've done nothing but adjust it as normally, haven't even screwed it on or off yet somehow its warped, stripped, and no longer functional. 3 months for a product to go kaput from minimal use is a travesty. I don't recommend. UPDATE: contacted customer service and it turns out Amazon shipped it with a missing piece. This company's customer service was exceptional and very quick/responsive. They are sending me the part I need and I will be updating my review again when the part comes on the overall quality of the mic stand :) ****NEW ITEM RECEIVED: Works great, replacement came with a part that was originally missing but now feels sturdier than ever, definitely recommend, customer service was great and fast/efficient

The clamp jaws open only a couple inches.
Excellent product. Sturdy, flexible.

Strong and flexible
I spent a fair amount of time trying to research which microphone stand to get and i am glad i got this one. It supports my audio technica condenser mic very well. Before, i had a boom mic stand that had 3 legs on the floor and it was always prone to tipping over and I was always having to negotiate around it with my rolling chair and cables. This gooseneck mic clamps on to my desk and is waaaay more convenient. The metal seems high quality. I am looking forward to the convenience of this set up for recording. The 19 inches seems just right as far as length goes from a sitting position in a chair.

Great Flex Stand For the Price
I purchased this to mount a home made camera lucida that I built. I needed a table mounted flexible holder and this looked like a good match. I also do quite a bit of home recording so I was expecting this to do double duty as a mic stand. I am very happy with the purchase. The flex gooseneck is flexible, but sturdy. It works well for both purposes. I surprised that the clamp was metal and had a bit of padding to protect the surface of the table when mounted. The mic end is a standard male 3/8-16 thread and an adaptor is provided for the more common US standard of 5/8-27. The mic adaptor provided is decent quality and fits a SM57 just fine. For the price, its quite a nice stand.

Lightweight use only
Not strong enough for a PodMic. Easy enough to position but it can't hold any substantial mic at a long reach. Shame since it was just the right length for my setup.

My expectations were low, but I am so thankful I bought one.
It's sturdy enough to hold my Elgato Wave:1 mic which isn't a heavy mic but I've had issues with other mic arms having the opposite issue because it's so light it's hard to hold the mic in place. I was worried about the length but it's the perfect length to place the microphone without being in the way of the monitors and the neck is thin enough to not block the second monitor on my right at all. I can fully adjust it so that it's both near my mouth and out of the view of the camera for streams and Zoom calls. I was prepared to spend close to $200 for a low-profile mic arm to keep it out the way and on a whim I went with this gooseneck even though it wasn't the length I wanted (I'm thankful the longer arm was out of stock) and it worked nearly perfect, I was legitimately shocked with how well it is for my setup. I haven't tested it with anything heavier than the Wave:1 mic, but I'm confident it would hold something heavier because of how sturdy it feels. I do wish it had a better method of attaching to the desk clamp because of how easily it starts to unscrew with the slightest turn counterclockwise anywhere on the gooseneck. If the gooseneck arm was on a swivel to allow you to better move the arm without unscrewing it from the base it would be the perfect mic arm for me. Maybe even a locking quick release mechanism instead of a standard screw on method. I paid $23 for this and would gladly pay another $10 if it had a better attachment method.

Good Enough
Easy to move around. Does come unscrewed a bit too easily.

Excellent product for the price
This unit is very well made, (desktop clamp is solid and easy to adjust). I've only had it a short time but it works well with my Shure Beta 87c condenser MIC. I just needed a short reach and wanted something smaller than a boom arm. The goose neck moves easily and stays in place for my mic. The connection to the base is solid and doesn't move around when the goose neck is moved out and in (keep mine in a vertical position when not in use). This freed up a ton of floor space in my small basement studio and I'll see how it holds up after a few months but so far so good.

Works well as a microphone arm stand. Locks into place easily holds onto the desk well. Make sure your desk can fit the clamp before buying which I did and works effectively on my desk now

This is the second one of these arms I've purchased. The first one was so bad it had to be returned the same day it was delivered. The components of this product are cheap, made in China, garbage, and I do not recommend buying this product. My advice, purchase separate components, and make sure the quality for each component is the best. Do not buy this product!!

Be warned that this is very stiff to use, and not for somebody who is weak. A decent length, and is sturdy, but can be difficult to use. If you can handle the stiffness, then this is going to be a very good mic holder for you. If you need something that is easy to use and easy to move around, I would suggest one of those architect mic arms

Not very easy to bend to where you want it as it keeps wanting to go back where it was. Also not very strong - tends to droop with a standard SM-58. Lastly, the clamp design means it won’t go onto a table with a skirt close to the edge without mucking about offsetting it. Not recommended.

Item feels sturdy. I'm using a fifine mic that's maybe a bit over a pound and find that it slowly stoops a bit from the mic weight so I've been readjusting every now and then. Perhaps it's because of the horizontal position of the mic when it gets screwed on and that I'll need to ensure it's more vertical. It's a bit difficult to bend towards the ends of the arm It's overall difficult to adjust the arm, not something you want to do every time when you sit down; however, I find it pretty convenient to push it to a side at the base so that it's not in my face when I'm not using it. It barely takes desk space so I'm happy with that. Overall it works as intended and can support the mic just fine Edit: updating review from 4 to 5 as the slightly drooping was fixed after beding the arm more vertical. ZealSound customer support experience has been really nice
