Leave Me Breathless Paperback – 5 Nov. 2019

This is what love and romance is with a lot of humour thrown in.I truly love what Jodi writes and I read them all but every so often there is one thats just that little bit more and this is one of those reads (along with The Forbidden and This Man Trilogy)From the fist page I was hooked, I was on the edge for f my seat to the very last word, the emotions and hotness was off the chart. A special mention to ‘cabbage’ hilarious and was great to have Cami and Jake back. Loved it x

Wow. This beautiful story really does leave you breathless, emotionally drained, physically exhausted and totally sated. Satisfaction is to small a word to describe this epic novel. All of Jodi males are alpha material but Ryan is not only protective , he is caring, patient, totally built both mentally and physically and is madly in love with Hannah. This time it is the heroine who is shattered and fragmented and it is the hero that is literally the glue. The story is humorous, especially the encounters with Alex, Ryan’s daughter, and the back stabbing between Darcy , Alex’s mother and Ryan. Hannah has a mischievous sense of humour also. The plots are intriguing, full of drama, emotionally charged and incredibly difficult to predict. Hampton sounds such a delightful village and is vividly described you can almost smell the atmosphere and touch the village characters. At times a handkerchief is essential also. The love scenes are not only sensuous but so endearing, romantic and sensitive that the reader feels as if they too are there. There are dark sides of life that are also sensitively described, and are totally necessary to the the understanding of why Hannah does not trust. A fabulous read by an exceptional author. We meet Jake from a previous book, and it is great to catch up on his and Cami’s development but this can still be read as a stand alone but why ? All of the authors books are outstanding and this one is equally as exceptional.

Once again Jodi gives us another hot alpha male to swoon over Ryan Willis.Ryan has had enough of being in the personal security agency ex MI5 agent just wants a quiet life and time with the person he love most his daughter Alex (aka Cabbage).After he finishes his final job with Jake ( yes the sexy protector) he decides it's time to head home to the Hamptons.What he didn't bargain on was running a sexy women off her bike and meeting the sassy and sexy Hannah Bright.The sparks ignite from the start but all is not what it seems Hannah she has a lot of secrets to hide.This intrigues Ryan even more does he push Hannah for the truth or just go with his heart because he has never felt like this before.She find's herself falling hard for Ryan but can she tell him her secret will it keep her safe, she has a great relationship with his daughter Alex so that makes Ryan fall for her even harder.Alex is hilarious some of the scenes will have you crying with laughter big time especially with her mother Darcy.As always a lot of twist and believe me you get them 10 folds in this book so many clues a long the way but will you piece them together read it to find out I dare you.

I am an avid Jodi Ellen Malpas fan and I have read all the phenomenal books she has written so far. And this new story is an exciting and intriguing slow burn novel that is outstanding. Right from the beginning we know that Hannah the heroine has a deep secret and is clearly hiding BUT with the drip, drip technique used in building to the climax of the writing, we only find out 'what' at the end.Ryan the hero had retired from his MI5 job ten years previously and now is ultimately ready to leave the protection role he had undertaken since and live in his cabin.He and Hannah met one dark night when he accidentally knocked her off her bike. At the time she refused his help but as he got to know her further he sensed she had underlying issues she surpassed and was unprepared to share.Then Hannah finds out that Ryan has a ten year old daughter he is devoted to. But who is the mother?Well, this book is a MUST read. The minor characters in the story also enhanced and add flavour to the success of this author. Read on...

Jodi leaves us breathless……Intrigue, suspense and all her steamy magic takes us in to the world of JEM and her alpha men. A touch of The Protector seals this perfect package.Ryan & Hannah are both looking for the quiet life but for different reasons, one is hiding and one is looking for a quieter pace of life.Clearly hiding from something Hannah is obviously attracted to the rather yummy Ryan but wary of getting involved with anyone and we are kept wondering what it could be she is running away from.Ryan too is confused by her reluctance to come out of her shell, but from his past experiences he also recognises someone who is scared and keeping a secret.As the chemistry between this pair builds we are introduced to Ryan’s daughter who is hilarious and I loved the fun elements of the book.I loved the romantic build up, the passion and the humour which Jodi always seems to get just right.I know you are going to love this story.

The latest book from JEM; a blockbuster as always. This is the story about Ryan and Hannah and is completely unmissable. Looking forward to reading her next published book.
