Spiralizer Vegetable Spiral Slicer Bundle with Brush and Peeler for Veggie Zucchini Pasta Spaghetti Noodle

It’s been an interesting experience making and eating zucchini noodles. This spiralizer has been easy to use, with only 2 concerns: I’m always nervous that my finger might get too close to one of the blades or slip and I’d cut myself; also it’s not that easy as I’d thought it would be. However, I do like the ‘deep penetrating cap’ to aid in wasting less of the veggies, even though (as mentioned in several other reviews) to some extent some part of each vegetable is still wasted. Sometimes the cap actually helps and sometimes it only rips the top of the vegetable apart, still trying to understand how to optimize this.

Pretty good, but I cannot spiralize the entire Zuchinni. The piece with prongs to hold the Zuchinni when it gets small has done nothing more than rip it up. It works fantastic when you turn it by hand until it gets small.

Be careful when assembling, the parts are extremely sharp (which, should be a given, but there wasn't really any correct way to hold the blade attachments so it's really easy to poke yourself.) Otherwise it works really well.

Good value, works as illustrated. Please read directions so you won't cut your finger, like I did, duh!

I only gave this 1 star because it partially did what it should. There is a top that has little spike like grips that you stick into the veggie and turn it when it's in the tube. However once the veg went far down the grip was too short to continue turning it so you're left with 3 inch pieces. The grip would not turn the carrot it just made a wide hole in the veg so I tried using my fingers to turn it around but was afraid I'd get cut. When the veg got too short it would get stuck in the tube and I had hell trying to pick it out. In order to open the tube to change the blades you have to release the snap with your finger by pushing it then my thumb would snap across the top of the blade. The first time it happened I though it had cut me. Cleaning up the spikes in the top that holds the veg, I couldn't get down to the bottom to remove stuff even with a brush. This was the first and last time I'll be using it.

I love this thing. I use it all the time. Very satisfied customer.

I was disappointed in this product. Immediately after opening the box, one of the screws came out of the latch. I wasn't too bathered due to there being two ends to peel from, but after the third use that side started to give me issues. I would try another brand if I bought this again.
