Book one I hated Teddy as soon as he came into the picture lol and his mom I was so happy when Kennedy beat her up lol and I was happy when Kenken got a job and found love. Book two I loved Nolani and Camari friendship it was everything a best friend should be I loved how Camari was not for her brothers BS I think Hareem was insane he was crazy and I’m happy Nolani was able to get out of that with her life and found happiness and love for herself her child and sister with Adwin. I really enjoyed all these different stories..Philly- I hate all Kennedy went through with 2 kids but it all paid off and she come out on top!!! Charlotte -Nolani truly deserved the love she had received cause whoa 😬😬she went through it with Hareem...Houston-I really felt bad for the sisters but they never have up at all.Taz was definitely a gift from God for the girls..Memphis-Jazz was a go getta frfr..She went extra hard for her son and never have up at all.. All these stories these women went straight through hell and back but NEVER stop wanting better for themselves and their kids👏👏👏 Wonderful job ladies I truly truly enjoyed each and everyone of them!!! Amazing Job❕❕

Some of the stories we great
Some of the stories were great expecially the Philly Edition, Charlotte Edition and the Memphis edition; however with so many authors someone should have designated a proofreading department. There were so many grammatical errors. It's not about just writing a book and telling a story. The reader shouldn't have to edit the book to read it. I am grateful that each of the women found the love of their lives while working on themselves and not waiting on handouts.

This was one of the best books I’ve read in a while! You ladies did your thing with this. I really felt like I was watching a movie and the philly version I was in the hood living everyday life. Those projects bring back a lot of memories lol. I was so scared along with olive and Olivia like idk what I would’ve done that young and oblivious to the world. Jazz and them are my girls I was ready to fight. I just loved everything about it. And child don’t get me started on that damn messy ass tattoo shop but my girl made it out and bossed up on they asses and her crazy ass ex. Great job

Pretty good
I really enjoyed these stories and characters and would love to read more about them. The last story, “The Memphis Edition” was one of my favorites but there were a lot of typos. If the characters weren’t so intriguing I wouldn’t have finished the story. There were a lot of bloopers as well, like Chanel was killed and then showed up at the end of the book. This is a 5 ⭐️ read but if you get irritated with bad writing and lack of editing then skip the Memphis Edition.

Thoroughly Enjoyed! 🔥🔥🔥
This was an awesome reading experience. I loved that all of the books highlighted the struggles that women, especially single mothers go through. It was refreshing and inspiring to read about characters making it out of the hood. So often we read about men doing illegal things, so I liked the spin that the authors put on the women. I also liked how the men didn't stay in their hood professions long either. All of the characters used their struggles to make them better people, and wanted more for their children. I already loved Yona as an author, and I I can't wait to read more from the other authors. Great, great, read!!!

A Solid Collaboration
I love a good rags to riches story! All of these ladies penned awesome tales and stuck to the theme of what the book is supposed to be.
