TRIXIE Dogs Walker Active Protective Boots, 2 Pieces (L)

The media could not be loaded. I don't usually write a review, but these dog boots were so good that I had to! I have a 9 month German Shepherd puppy and he's pretty active. We go on long walks on the hot concrete road (that's often littered with trash, sharp nails, glass, animal poop, etc) as well as hikes in nature (that has sharp rocks, ticks, fleas, mud, etc). So you can imagine that I have used EVERY product to safeguard my puppies paws. From paw-butter to stick-on paw-pads. I have used every dog shoe, sock and boot available in India and the US. You may find such brands like Ruffwear and Alcott. But after trying all of these products, I can confidently say that these boots by Trixie are THE BEST.Reasons:1) They have a double buckle/velcro-strap to ensure the boots don't slip off while your dog is running/playing.2) They are incredibly durable. Rainy days or rugged climbing or running on concrete roads, these shoes have withstood all conditions.3) The SIZE is perfect! Trust me when you buy other brands, the size never seem exactly as what you wanted, no matter how well you measure your dog's paws.4) Super comfortable for my dog. Other brand dog shoes make even walking seem cumbersome for my dog. But you can see in the video I am posting that my dog instantly felt comfortable enough to run in the Trixie dog boots.5) The price is unmatched! I firmly believe that you should explore all options before purchasing. If you search other brand boots on Amazon, you'll see that Ruffwear and Alcott boots are twice or even three times as expensive as Trixie. And I had purchased them before, so I can tell you that these other brands are so expensive yet their material gave my puppy shoe-bites and he got little abrasions on his dew-claw (that little extra claw on the side of the dog's forelegs). But no such problems with Trixie dog boots.So,In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Trixie dog boots. I hope they keep making these boots, so on my puppy's birthday I can buy him a new second pair of shoes to go on new outdoor adventures!!

Good, using it for my golden retriever.Is effective and does not slip out. However seen one sole slightly open a bit. Used feviquick and that seems to have done the job

I purchased this for my adult rottweiler. Although i purchased the largest size available the paw still does not fully enters the shoe with few centimeters of space left in the front.It is very expensive. However my rott had paw injury with later became infected so cost was least of my priority. I needed something to protect the wound from further cuts or bruises. Although i purchased 2 pairs i only put on a pair on the front limbs as that's where majority of body weight (55kg) comes. Hence it is a necessity. I had skipped putting them on few times, but the wound became inflamed again. So I don't take my dog out without it ever. He has also gotten used to, he lifts his leg on his own when asked to put them on.Very useful esp when you take your dog out for walks on tarmac. They tend to get their paws scratched more on tarmac roads.

It's meant for dogs, why not make it a pack of 4. Quite expensive for a pair of 2.Also, the rubber base is good, it doesn't covet the entire base. The binding doubles down to the bottom and reduces the life and durability, which is pretty bad.Overall, not something I'll recommend till they fix the design flaw as well as packing set.

I bought these very hyped, overpriced shoes for my dog. 2 pairs is almost Rs. 3000, Rs.1488 for one pair. Yes, seller sells it as a single pair like humans. Amazon rated it very high. I thought quality looks good. Shoes were dilevered on around 7th June 2021. My purpose was to use during rains to protect my dogs paws from mud. In Pune it didn't rain till end of June 2021. So shoes were unused till 1st week of July. It started raining consistently from 6th July 2021 and since then used every day (twice a day) for about 30 days. Means my doggy used it 60 times.Last week I observed bad state of the shoes, sole came out more than half way. Big wholes started appearing on the soft clothed material. And couple of days ago, more than 90% sole were disconnected from shoe.Really bad quality. Didn't expect Rs. 3000 to get wasted in merely 30 days. It almost comes down to Rs. 100 per day. Bad choice.Amazon or any other ecommerce platform do not have anything to offer more than this. I want to keep my dog protected so bought another 2 pair and got delivered yesterday. Wore those first time today. But amazing part is, this time I have spent whooping Rs.3400 for these shoes.Sad.... feeling very sad and bad that this kind of cheating is happening by Amazon seller's. And surprisingly Amazon doesn't care at all.See the attached pictures to see the state of the shies after 30 days of use.Not at all worth buying.... value for money....what's that? Too costly. If you can find some other option then please buy and comment here so we can also buy from there.

first of all it’s expensive! the quality of the shoes is nice, but it doesn’t stay for a long time, in 6months only the base part has torn off, so now no point making him wear! they should improve the rubber sole..
