Does it make noise when the numbers flip?

Technically it does make noise when the number flips but it’s not as loud as the old school clocks…… if you have the tv on you won’t hear…… You are more likely to hear at the top of the hour when all numbers flip. Mine is working fine. Battery life seems decent…..
