Construction quality is good. It appears to be Cordura nylon on the outside with inside of thin neoprene. The wrist strap is long and designed to actually Velcro twice to be absolutely secure. It's reasonably comfortable. The flashlight retention strap has two thick rubber squares sewn inside to prevent the flashlight from sliding. This is the only reason I took off one star. I tested this with a D cell Maglite when it arrived. The diameter of the Maglite is 1 1/2 inches and this particular glove mount does an outstanding job of holding it. It's very secure. However, my actual dive light is slightly smaller since it's a C cell light. The diameter of that case is 1 1/4 inches and the rubber square prevents the strap from being pulled through to tighten it adequately. In practice, there is a workaround that works well. I cut up a spare fin strap and wrapped it around the flashlight before putting the Velcro (glove mount) strap over that. It works well but in reality, this glove mount is designed to a specific 1 1/2inch diameter flashlight. It is nonadjustable and that information is not communicated in the description.

You get what you pay for. Nothing wrong with it. It is just to small for my hand. It works well. I also have a wrist mount it works way better and is more comfortable to wear on long dives.

It is a great temporary setup. It holds my C-cell dive light securely, but you have to turn the light on and off before you put it on your hand if you have a twist on/off style. The Velcro closure isn't long enough for my hands when I'm wearing my 5mm gloves, but it works well enough to check out the setup before you spend big bucks on a name brand mount.

I'm leaving for a dive trip in a few days and dug out the backup glove to check it out before the trip. The Velcro retaining strap is put on backwards and is too short. For $7.00 more get the right thing.

Item received is not as described or pictured. Might hold a pen light. Does not have a top retention area, only a small neoprene “sleeve” if you could call it that. The intended flashlight area barely stretches either.

Used it on 4 dives and its already falling apart nice fit but not durable

like the fit, but velcro not well attached so needed to restitch to ensure durability

Supposed to be used with it without gloves, t doesn’t fit well over women’s gloves. Probably wouldn’t fit a man’s hand in a glove.
