Typical knob, needs polished once in awhile. Isnt the biggest knob out there, but it does the job. This knob will not fit your hand properly on a GT 235 style steering wheel. The knob feels awkward in your hand and the only place to mount your knob, is close to the center. The knob is too big to fit in any other holes. ( on the steering wheel) good quality, good size knob, well built, strong knob. Would recommend this knob for anyone with a smaller hole so you can mount it with better ease and comfort. Just my opinion. After a few hours, it was fantastic. Made turning, even still, sooo much easier and faster. Forgot how well these worked. A must buy. Changed my review to 5 stars!

Finally a sturdy knob for my tractors. Solid fit, smooth operation, and appears to be a quality product. Just purchased a second one for another tractor.

I put it on and it works like it should I would buy it again

I wish I would have found this first because I've tried two others that fell terribly short of this product, and in doing so, spent almost quadruple as much as I would have needed to.Firstly, I have been a yard driver for a large corporation for going on two years now. I drive a dual axle, cabover yard tractor and move approximately 150, 53 to 48 ft trailers daily while putting on between 25 and 65 mi per day. In doing so, I am both in the yard and on the road. In the beginning I didn't even really know what I needed, but as it turns out, I needed a suicide knob to be both easy to install and uninstall and able to withstand large pressures repeatedly and continuously over a 10-hour period. I was starting to wonder if there was such a thing until I found this product!The bearings are smooth and rugged. It came with several different sizing options and methods of fitting to the steering wheel and even a rubberized end guard so as not to damage, or even leave an imprint, on the steering wheel! I've been using it continuously for about 2 weeks now and see no signs whatsoever of the bearings or mounting hardware giving to fatigue. For the amount of abuse I put this steering knob through, even if I go through one per month it will be well worth the less than $12 it costs to replace!! The two others that I've tried gave out almost within the first day.While being extremely effective in backing trailers into doors, it is at the same time none obtrusive while driving on the road.The only thing possible improvement I could see making to this kit would be the use of wing nuts instead of hex nuts, but the hardware is amazing and the hex nuts just spin right on with no effort at all. My job is highly demanding on this product and so far I do not see it giving out anytime soon! I will try and remember to upload a picture of the installed knob on my steering wheel and maybe even a video.Bravo to the manufacturer of the steering knob!

This knob is everything I had hoped it would be. It is of sturdy construction, easy to install and works well on my lawn tractor/mower. I have a very similar knob installed on a larger tractor about 20 years ago and it has held up well. Would buy again.

Works as expected

This worked ok, the best part of the green color is the right John Deere green color. It didn't fit my steering wheel very well, and I had to add a lock nut to each bolt and tighten it down as hard as I could for it to not loosen and start moving around. Luckily I have drawers of odds and ends on hand so was able to easily find two lock nuts of the right size in my shop to make this work a little better.

Looks nice but needed to bend the lower bracket to fit the steering wheel on my peterbilt will see if it lasts the test of time
