There are several different brands of this same filter.That said, I've used Mooka in the past and have always been happy with the performance, life, features, etc.Plus their warranty (extended with registration), web site and support make them stand out for me.But after just the first half-day of running this purifier, all the mystery odors in an old building finally disappeared. I forgot what "clean" (not masked) smelled like.I have an air conditioner with a filter that is constantly clogging fairly quickly, but also only filters the largest particles, effectively blowing the rest around. With this placed near that ac unit, much more clean/purified air is being fed into that ac unit. And fewer & fewer particles are being recirculated.I can't say enough good about these.About the only negative being the oft-mentioned sleep light.

it does have it's cons. I put it in a very large room (12x15) and ran it over night. By next morning it did a wonderful job of cleaning the air. I could feel such a difference in the air quality of the room! I was very happy with that, but my little dog went and peed on her pee pad after she got up and the smell of the urine lingered in the air. I decided to wait and come back in 30 minutes to see if it would eliminate the odor. It didn't. That pretty much summed it up for me. That this air purifier would go back into my smaller bedroom. And so now I am on the hunt for something stronger that can eliminate odor. The sound doesn't bother me from this machine. It does do a great job at cleaning the air. That I would highly recommend for that.

I got this purifier to replace an older purifier that I kept in the bedroom, and overall it seems like a very good purifier; it is quieter than other units of its size, the filter is very high quality, and it looks nice.My biggest complaint is that all of the buttons have very bright blue LEDs behind them, and the "Sleep mode" is a joke; it dims all of the lights *except* the "Sleep mode" light, which is still bright enough to light up an otherwise dark room. Furthermore, putting it in "Sleep mode" forces the fan to the lowest speed. On top of that, if you press the "Lock" button, that cancels Sleep mode and turns all of the other lights back on. Due to how the unit is designed, even if you try to cover up the lights by putting something over them, light still leaks out of the sides of the unit.So... buy this if you want a good filter, but not if you need the room it's in to be dark.

I have 2 of these now, and I really like them for the price. I like the timer feature. I can leave the house, timer for 4 hours, and come back home and I think I can smell the difference. The air is, I don't know how to describe it, like a stale no smell. To me that's a clean smell, no odors, no false flag spray in smells. No large dog smells. You know like a house smell, its gone. It just an air smell, like nothing at all.Stuff I dont like, you cant turn the lights off. I like the lowest setting for running all night while I sleep and I have to put a sock over the controls so it doesnt light up the room.Sleep mode is dumb the sleep button still lights up.It'd also be nice if there was a larger fan with a higher speed. American style bigger larger louder for when I am not home.

I have three of these now. They are the most effective large room air purifier I have tried. This device works better than my Dyson, I am not kidding. I have 3 now, one in the bedroom, one in the living room, and one in my office, where my rabbit's pen also is.I bought the first one to control rabbit hair and hay dust in the office. Since adding one in the bedroom, I have much less nighttime congestion. Since adding one to the living room, much less face itching and I don't see so much hair flying around.So yes, these are great and I recommend them. They are a little bit noisy on high speed, but not obtrusive, in my opinion. The noise is smooth, not buzzy.

Whereas it was looking to be a good product, it has a major flaw that is a real nuisance. The computer sets random modes after being on all day. This started in two of the units after a couple of months. One is flashing filter removal and does not reset using the procedure in the manual even with a new filter (the old one was fine). The second one sets random modes with nothing touching the controls. Filtering is fine but the control scheme needs work.

I bought this about 2 years ago after the Pacific NW started experiencing extreme problems with massive wild fire smoke every summer. It works great for my whole 1200ft condo. Easy no-fuss setup. It has a nice sleek look, much appreciated in my limited space home.I have a air quality monitor, on many occasions Ive tested this on everything; pollen's, freeway traffic pollution, heavy wildfire smoke and post winter dust, just turning this on has been so effective my air quality monitor goes from extreme unhealthy levels to great in a short time, now I run on low at the 4 hour setting each evening while I sleep, and high for 1 hour when I need to get rid of cooking smells. Its made a noticeable difference in quality of life at home.
