Great Barn Door!
This barn door kit was exactly what we were looking for to replace a pocket door that was obsolete. The door came unassembled but was packaged very well. The weight was impressive so we knew right away that the door was no cheap plastic piece of junk. It was well made and easily assembled. For our door opening of 24”x80”, this 30” wide by 84” high door was just what we needed. I followed the directions line by line and the finished product is both functional and beautiful. We installed a 1x6” ledger or header board that I primed and painted before attaching to the wall. That really made the whole process relatively easy. There were a few steps that required two people to complete but mostly this is a one person project. I was very happy with the round plastic locking plates. It ensures that no one will accidentally take this door off the track. It is quite heavy and likely to hurt someone if it were to come off the track. We also decided not to install the decorative trim for the door. In most barn doors that trim must be installed so having the option to not install was great! Overall, we found this door kit to be practical, attractive and affordable.

Good for the price point
Giving 5 stars because this was one of the cheaper options and met my expectations. Assembly/install was easy for my dad who is a contractor. He’s a tough critic and wouldn’t typically buy a door that needed to be assembled but he didn’t have any complaints with this. Be sure to get the right size.. the door should be 2-6 inches bigger than your door opening.. so my door opening is 30x80 and I got the 36x84.. could’ve probably gotten away with the 32x84. Definitely recommend the wood board to mount the track on (mine is 5” wide and idk how long.. it’s 2-3 inches longer than the track). If you are gonna paint the board, do that first.. you could take one of the diagonal peel & stick pieces to Home Depot to get a color match if you wanted since those pieces are smaller and lightweight compared to the actual door slats. The color white is bright white so keep that in mind. A few small quality points: one of the wood pieces was slightly damaged on the corner.. luckily it wasn’t substantial and isn’t visible once put together. The paint on the corner of the one door pull was chipped slightly.. also not visible. My dad was concerned the pieces might have been damaged in transit because the box looked bent a little bit.. I don’t necessarily think the corner I mentioned was busted in transit .. but I’d say there is a small risk of damage if the delivery driver is careless. The small imperfections on mine seemed to have been from the manufacturer based on the packaging being in tact in those areas (handle was in its own small box so definitely wasn’t from shipping). Last thing is that the guard thing for the floor so the door stays on the track only has a roller on one side.. my dad is concerned the other side of the door will get marked up over time from rubbing against the metal part (vs having a 2nd roller or a “cushion”).. I plan to order a different one with rollers on both sides to avoid that from happening (can get one for like $10). I really like how big the handle is.. some of these doors have a different style handle so be sure to look at that before you order one. I also didn’t put on the diagonal peel & stick boards that came with it.. it looks good without them and I don’t exactly have a farmhouse theme going on here so those boards weren’t necessary for me. Overall I’m very happy with it and I think it’s definitely worth the price paid! Happy with the price:quality ratio. (The box is heavy - I’m a single female and the amazon guy left it at the bottom of my porch steps and it was a challenge to get inside on my own.)

Top Notch...
What a nice door this turned out to be! You do have to assemble the actual door, but it was soooo easy and went together beautifully. The hardware seems to be very heavy duty as well. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Beautiful barn door and easy to assemble
This comes with great detailed instructions. Don't listen to the bad reviews where things didn't fit well. There's a key instruction on the panels and how they should face as you slide them in. Pay attention and you won't go wrong. There's a review where there's massive gap that the reviewer could not close--that person did it wrong. The product is fine.

Great Look, average quality
Love the look but I wish the quality was better. Unfortunately the panels arrived with a few flaws. I would have returned it but by the time we assembled it, I missed the 30 day return window. Two of cross panels were cracked. Three out of four have already fallen off. One of the side panels looks like it has a hole in it. A bit bummed that I have to modify it to fix it. Assembly was easy. The rails seem heavy and durable. Would have been perfect if the pieces weren’t damaged

Couldn't fix the gaps in the pictures
Hello, I was attempting to contact your customer service for help but was not given a contact in the questions section. I took this door apart and rebuilt it several times bit the gaps in the pictures remain. The directions are unclear and the bolts are not bringing it any closer. Is this defective or can you see something that i am missing in the photos?
