Surprisingly amazing for the price
Surprisingly amazing for the price! It has so many features, all the features work very well! Whole family has iPhones and the app works great for everyone; incredibly data thirsty but that was to be expected for streaming video and audio. It didn't connect the first time I tried, but I had to make sure I was connected to the right WiFi (read carefully to instructions) and then it worked perfectly for the last few days. The one little downside is that it doesn't turn super smoothly; it has set turning points, so it's hard to get the cats in the middle of the picture sometimes, but that really hasn't limited functionality.

The app is useless with no technical support. Would not recommend.
The camera worked fine, the App, however is useless. I tried contacting the company SEVERAL times to no avail. With the app not working, and me not being able to receive any sort of technical support, the camera was rendered useless. I would not recommend this product.

Great concept; poor execution = returning for refund | 3 issues right out of the box...one potentially dangerous heat concern
Arrived on time and moderately packaged. We have had this for a week now and this is my experience so far:1st issue (and very concerning) – SD Card “burned”First 32Gb SanDisk class 10 MicroSD card evidently was not compatible with Helmet.I installed the card and left it over night (no realizing I needed to format it).The next day as I walked past the camera I heard what sounded like snapshots being taken.Since I had not configured any motion or audio alerts I logged into the iFamCare app. This is when I learned I needed to format disc. When I attempted to format it gave me an error “SD card is not enough space”. Since this was new card I thought maybe reseating it would help. When I tried to push the card in to get it to eject I was startled by a slight burn under my thumbnail. Upon closer inspection I found the bottom of the Helmet extremely warm to the touch and the SD card would not easily eject. When I finally did get it out I found the card very hot with a brown burn mark in the center (see attached photo).I took some pictures of burned card and sent an email to [email protected] on Wednesday. They have not yet responded.2nd issue – Intermittent SD Card awareness (likely related to whatever caused issue 1)Since the camera still “worked” I thought maybe it was the card itself so bought another 32Gb and installed it.I formatted it and tested the recording capability successfully. Then about 15 minutes later as I was playing with my dog and the laser I started getting “SD card is not enough space” errors.Checking the card in the iFamCare app I discovered it required formatting again. This has happened twice now…it records a little bit (under 1Gb) then fails.3rd issue – laser pattern intermittentWhen using one of the four preset laser patterns (figure eight, circle, line or free-form) it seems to get confused if you repeat the same pattern more than three times. It also does not respond well to switching patterns while still completing the current one. This often has to be resolved by closing out of the app and reconnecting to camera. So far I am not impressed by the devices quality or functionality.I am giving iFamCare another day or so before I return to Amazon for refund.UPDATE: never heard back from support request to iFamCare.Returning for refund.Great concept; poor execution.

I get a pretty clear picture of the area that it is monitoring
It's OK. I wish that it had a few more features. For example, an on/off switch. It is on all the time. It works OK though. I get a pretty clear picture of the area that it is monitoring. Depending on the Wifi or data I have on my end (with the phone) is really what determines the reaction time. I wish I could also do more with the pointer. You start the figure eight pointer and it stops within 30 seconds. It also takes pictures and videos all the time. I believe it had a motion sensor which, when trigger, activates the pictures or videos.Overall, I can see the kitties and play with them when they are in the vicinity of the camera and take my own pictures if I wish. It's not too bad.

Good Camera
Use it regularly and it works well. The only issue I have is the rotation of the camera. It's not exact. When you move to the right it moves an entire frame to the right. So if what you want to look at is sitting in the corner you won't be able to center in on the action. It's annoying but it does allow great visibility when I'm away. I've also moved it to new location and haven't had any issues.

Purrfect for my cat!
I looked at all of these cameras available on Amazon and decided to go with this one because it was priced well, has a range of motion, and has night vision. It ended up being the best choice for me. Some of the others only had 1-Way sound but this camera has 2-way sound (I can hear the cat and she can hear me). She is slightly amused by the laser but mostly loves my voice. The reason I got the camera was because I travel a lot and my cat gets high anxiety. So far, I have used this camera and app on my iPhone to log in and check up on her. If it weren't for the night vision and the free range of motion (left right up down) I would not be able to find her in my tiny studio apartment. She actually hears the camera moving and gets up to check it out. Not only is it adorable, but it keeps her interest. She also loves to hear my voice and meows back excitedly. Worth every penny! I am glad I chose this one specifically for the night vision, free range of motion and 2-way audio. It did not seem like the other cameras had all 3 of these features, which I have found to be the most important. I did not realize how dark my apartment was and I am glad I have the night vision feature to correct for the poor lighting. I highly recommend this camera!

Worked fine for about 2 months
So, I bought this camera to check on my cats while I was at work. Worked fine for about 2 months, then it simple logged me out and would not let me log back in. Not even by creating a new account. Reached out to customer support, they don't have a reliable team to provide concrete solutions. Very disappointing, looking how I can return to get my money back!
