It's ok!
We do like the concept of this feeder. There is less of a mess on my floor, but if you buy the more expensive bird seed the larger pieces won't fit through. I have to take a chopstick and force it through. Another problem that I have is that my bird eats with its head over it and the tiny pieces of shell stay in the trough. There needs to be some type of screen or holes to allow that to sift through. Another problem we have is that I had to put a perch in front of it because this thing is just too small for my 2 month old cockatiel.

OMG don't do it do not buy this!
Do not I said do not I mean do not buy this product this thing is horrific to put together and of course I broke a part trying to piece it together it is the worst the worst let me tell you very very very worst product I have ever purchased in my life!!! Oh ... Haha ... I did not mention the instructions to put this thing together they're a freaking picture .. a picture of 20 clear plastic pieces with no written instruction whatsoever it's a pathetic puzzle and let me tell you if you buy this good luck with you and shame on you! Just saying!

Not as big as ur seems
They picture a cockatiel using it. Well that must be a tiny tiny cockatiel because I purchased this feeder for my White Bellied Caique anc there is no way she would even fit in it. But it is a good feeder system. After a 1 hour puzzle session trying to put it together ( luckally I like puzzles) u saw just how small it was. If you are not patient then do not get this feeder. Not a bad feeder for very small birds. So I gave it to my Canaries. Will purchase more just for the other Canarie cages and mount them on the outside.

It did not fit in the cage openings so we had to put it inside. The birds keep taking the bands off of the feeder so it has fallen apart a couple times. I am hoping to find a glue that will work to hold it together.

Worth the time to assemble!
A nice item if you don't mind a somewhat lengthy assembly. It's not hard, just takes a bit of time. Remove the 'head hole' piece for larger birds (like conures).I will edit this review later if durability is lacking.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!!
Just finished throwing this piece of garbage from China into the trash. No where in the description does it say it is a kit that you have to assemble. You get sheets of very thin, cheap plexiglass that have been cut into about 20 different pieces, worse than usual English from a Chinese translator instructions, no drawn diagrams, photos of clear acrylic pieces on dark blue backgrounds so you can't see the shapes they are telling you to put together, and the two sides don't fit together at all. I wasn't expecting a kit, and even if i had assembled it intact, my cockatiels could have chewed apart the inappropriately thin acrylic in just one session. Didn't even try to contact the Chinese sellers for a refund because there is no way I can repackage this piece of crap to return it to China. Heed my hard lesson and do not buy this. Amazon should unlist this item. Pictures attached of the very sad looking result, the useless assembly diagrams that were illegible and all the paper I had to peel off of both sides of 20 different pieces.
