I bought these to make candles from some candle remnants. The bases hold the wicks well. They are a little tricky to light the first time but burn and crackle after that. The size was perfect to put 2 into a large jar candle that held 3 regular wicks previously. They work well and seem to hold up well even during storage.

Some of the best I've used. It really does crackle and burns well in my 3" container withsoy.

They light, they just don't stay lit.

Wicks worked good, gave a nice crackling sound when burned in candles.

These are the worst wooden wicks I’ve ever worked with and I’ve been creating wooden wick candles for over two years. These are paper thin and burn out before the wire even gets to the candle wax. Waste of money.

Seem alittle to thin for my liking.

On occasion, you'll hear the crackling sound that makes wooden wicks so much fun. But for some reason, these wicks simply don't stay lit. Other candles that I have purchased where wooden wicks are used burn well and stay lit. These don't, and I am not sure why. They are very thin and just burn up no matter how long the wick is.

I’ve never used wooden candle wicks before and was just looking for something sturdier to stand in a melted candle until it solidified. These worked perfect! And they burn well! They make a crackling sound like a campfire which I was surprised by but actually enjoy!
