Living in the country, with open fields, there are days it can get really windy. We used this with water, kept it outside overnight and didn’t not have any issues.Great with filling water, but will use sand next time. Takes longer to get water out for when we put away to store.

These are easy to use to hold down your canopy especially in high winds.I prefer to fill them with water that way you can empty them out later on. Or you can fill with sand to make them even heavier.They even come with a strap for transport.

Fit my tent well. Easy to fill and drain with either sand or water. I camps a lot so easy to set up is a big plus to me. The weights seem to be pretty heavy duty. They survived from a few drops with fully loaded. No leaks nor dent. One set of four is perfect for my tent (good for eight people) but you may want to buy two sets for bigger tents or for windy days.

As stated in description, it fits tent poles. It doesn’t. Gave as Father’s Day gift. By the time we put up our tent, 30 days passed. Wouldn’t pay for return authorization. They allowed return, but I had to pay $68.00 to ship from post office, Cheapest way. Even though this is a prime product and I’m a prime member, I still had to pay shipping. The product was just a little bit more than the shipping cost. Very upset. Not sure how to handle this. Otherwise Amazon has been very good to us.

The product description says the weights weigh 6 lbs when empty. It also says that adding water will add 5 extra pounds (which should make each weight a total of 11 pounds). This is completely inaccurate. The package took a week and a half to get here, and I open it to find each weight weighs less than air. A baby could hold these and swing them around like a baby toy! These are made only for 5 pounds of water. Each weight also had a piece of plastic flopping around on the inside, so they seem poorly made. I tried uploading a picture of me holding one with my pinky but it wouldn't let me. Don't buy these if you want something heavier than 5 pounds....*UPDATE: The buyer contacted me to clarify the product description. They were pleasant and understanding. I will still be returning them as they don’t meet my needs, however, the seller processed the return quickly and gave me a pre-paid return label to ship the product back to them.

I do not recall it being listed anywhere that these weights would be empty and that we would have to fill ourselves. I would have gone with another supplier if I would have known. I do not recommend anyone purchasing this product unless they are comfortable with filling the weights themselves.

Love Love Love Them...They fit perfectly on my Pop-Up Canopy Tent..I only used water in them n they are very sturdy and strong..
