* NOTE - I returned this product The following points may help understand.1. The product says "140 TC", but what does that mean? I searched after the fact, and found TC=thread count. That is, TC tells you how sparse or dense the material is, and that indicates the service level you can expect.2. Sellers SHOULD EDUCATE US ON WHAT TC (thread count) MEANS, and what a number of 140, or 200, or 500 IMPLIES. Or, @AMAZON #AMAZON should add this, since it is a product category, and arguably it is up to the platform to do this after extracting and digesting the information.3. I guess 140 TC is too porous a blanket for my purposes. What that means — It is ok in still air, i.e. with no breeze or fan but if there is air movement—breeze or fan—the air creates a draft inside, doesn't insulate the body adequately.4. Other than the low TC issue, this product is also 2 inches shorter from comparable standard blankets. The standard seems to be 90x60 inches, but for some reason this one is 88x58. The shortfall is a loss, i could not wrap it around me adequately.

Very soft light weight and comfortable but i received torn blanket thats why returning it.
