I liked these SO WELL, I ordered TWO MORE sets of two.
I ordered four sets of two for various uses. I use them as both potholder and trivets. I had purchased another brand first which were actually thicker and square in shape. They were not pliable enough for me. Once these became available in black [since I do not like bright colors in my earthtone kitchen], I gave them a try. I truly like them BETTER than the thicker, more expensive brand; and I find the round shape easier to work with than square. They are certainly thick enough to protect your hands and kitchen surfaces from hot cookware. As a matter of fact, I liked these SO WELL, I ordered TWO MORE sets of two.

I HAD A DIFFERENT USE IN MIND
I'm sure these work great to protect your hands (and your countertops) from hot pots. I may have need of them in that capacity some day. For now, they are used beneath my three dogs' bowls to keep them from sliding across the floor. They work great.

Great, Thinner Silicone
These are basic and just what I needed. Dishwasher safe and very easy to clean. I like these better than other silicone pot holders because they're lighter in weight and not as thick and heavy as others I've tried, making it easy to bend them.The only downside is that they heat up a bit quicker. I only ever noticed this when I was eating soup on the couch one night. I'd been constantly holding the pot holder under my bowl and my hand was warm. Otherwise, they're great! Would recommend!

I love these things!
We use these as trivets, pot holders, and even to keep bowls from sliding off the countertop. Very versatile and simple, and they come clean very easily. Drying them can take some time, but I've found that putting them in the oven at 160F works well to get water out of the little pockets quickly if you don't want to wait.

Works great and much easier to clean than conventional cloth pot holders!
I have had these for a few days and they work really well. I like them much better than conventional cloth pot holder because they are much easier to clean. I also am glad that I went with the round. It seems easier to grab things with the round shape compared to square pot holders.

Just received them. Nice and heavy duty. Should work just fine. My only suggestion would be to make them without holes.

Great to use as trivets and as potholders.

NICE
Bought these primarily to place under our kitchen compost canister. Prevents grit from getting between canister and Corian counter. AND the pad is easy to keep clean. The 2nd pad makes a great pot holder.
