I could never make a planner work before this one.
I've used this planner for about 8 months and it's time to reorder. I could never make dated planners work for me -- I still use an electronic calendar for scheduling and I really just needed a notebook with some light date capabilities. Plain notebooks always ended up being hard to reference afterwards. I couldn't find notes I might have wanted, so I just trashed them.So this is the perfect hybrid notebook/datebook. I take notes and note the date, use the index (see pros below), and I don't waste pages. I even make a weekly to-do list by reviewing the previous week's list and any notes I took during the week, sort of like [the famous paper organizer company whose initials are F-C]. But this works better for me. It's more low-key than a hardcore planner.[As a side note, this has been an important part of an overall effort to reduce technology insanity for me, including getting off all social media and writing more letters. Both highly recommended activities. When I sit down for a meeting, I don't have my phone out -- only this planner and a pen. It feels sane, and I feel more present.]Pros:- Open dates mean you don't have to skip pages- Index at the front makes it easy to "bullet journal" -- just write in the date and the notes you took that date, so you can find them later on.- Sturdy- Having the page ribbon AND elastic band is very useful- Fits in a purse.Cons:- None that I can think of.

The perfect to-do list maker notebook / planner
I may have found the planner I have always been looking for. The planner is fabulous for someone who is looking for a to-do list book, but one that has the calendar and some monthly planning capabilities. The first part of the notebook is the list maker section - lined pages with a date box at the top. I love that for myself, you put in the date of what you need to do; errand to run, phone calls to make, etc... With some daily/weekly planners - I feel like I am wasting pages/money because I don't write something in every day of the week, or sometimes I leave a whole week blank - and it seems like I am not using the planner to full capacity. The back section is the monthly calendars with lined spaces to write monthly notes / appointments, etc...(2 months to a page) The calendars run for 3 years - starting with 2016 to 2018. If you are someone like me - making a few appointments for the month - this seems to fit the bill. Next there is a "Quick Reference" 2 page spread - not sure what this is for, maybe phone numbers or email addresses - pretty much anything you ned to find in a hurry. After this there are the 3 quick reference calendars on 3 pages - 2016 to 2018 (1 page for each year). And finally rounding out the book is a pocket/envelope to place some slips of paper / receipts, etc... I have looked years for something liked this and I really think this will work out very well. Only downside for me - and I am not taking any stars away because of it - but I would have loved for this to be spiral bound so it could lie totally flat (which may happen with use) but also to turn the book onto itself for easier writing.

The monthly summary pages run from January 2020 to December 2022.
When I received the product there were less than three weeks to run on the monthly summary pages. Looks like I was shipped a product that has been sitting on the shelf for almost three years! Would have been much happier if the monthly summary pages had been current.

Excellent planning notebook!
This notebook has 23 lines per page along with 4 additional lines at the bottom of the page dedicated to highlights/little notes. It is very easy to plan your day, thanks to the 23 lines. The 4 bottom lines make a good To Do List :)There are calendars and month pages on the last 1/4 of the book too.

Nice undated planner HOWEVER calendars are 2020 and 2021
Pros:main pages are undatednot too heavywell built - hardbackcost - for a single year (since 2020 is useless)Cons:Calendars inside are for 2020-2021 (we're in 2021 so all of the 2020 is USELESS!)
