Excellent product, needs better description
Great valve. Smooth and easy operation and well worth the extra money. When installing be sure to dry fit the pipe first as the pipe does not go in as easily as it would a regular PVC joint. When installing rotate the pipe until it bottoms out, and then place the PVC pipe end on a solid surface and push down to ensure the pipe goes all the way in. The valve is CPVC, you can use a all-purpose cement to glue PVC pipes (usually the red can). The valve can be easily reconfigured by unscrewing the phililps screws and adjusting the handle.If you are using 2-inch pipes glue a 2-inch coupling to the outside of the port. This should be made more clear in the description.

Great Valve for my Salt Water Pool
Needed to add another valve for my salt water pool system. The rest of the valves in my system are also Jandy brand valves. They have been in service for greater than 10 years.
