They are brilliant! Much better than the wahl clippers we had before! The charge lasts for so many cuts, it's unbelievable! I recommend these clippers to anyone that needs clippers. The whole kit is superb. A good size for my small hands & not too heavy at all. Wahl guards also fit, which is handy for me as I use #10 & #12, with #8 to maintain my pixie cut. These clippers have saved me a small fortune on regular trims! So very happy! Buy them!! 😃

I started cutting my hair 3 years ago at the start of COVID. I inititally had some Remington ones that were awful, battery ran out after 15 mins and I'd have to wait and recharge halfway through a cut. I then bought some Hatteker RFC-690 off here for £30, and they were far better and have served me well for 2.5 years, but, naturally, over time the blades have dulled and weren't giving the best cuts. Looking for new clippers I narrowed it down to these and a few others, bt since Hateker have served me well I thought I'd go with these, and it's been a good choice. First of all, these feel great to hold and have a nice weight to them and build quality. Using my old Hatteker clippers (since the guards work better for tight areas) to do my beard today made me realise how plasticy and cheap they feel in comparison to these new ones. So it's great to know Hatteker are serious about improving their products, even if they function well as is. The blades are sharp and strong and gave a satisfactory cut. Plenty of guards, although cutting my own hair I would always favour more guards just to be safe haha. As with my old ones, the battery life is excellent. After using for just over an hour this morning the battery dropped to 90%, so no need to worry about it running out on you. The product also comes with a charger, comb, oil for the blades and also one of those capes to wrap around your neck like you'd get in an actual barbers. All in all I've got nothing to complain about, and these are an imporovement on some already great clippers I had from you guys years ago. Whether you're a barber, or simply do your own hair, I'd definitley recommend these. For £40 even if they only last half a year I'd be saving a fair amount of money compared to going to a barbers every 2/3 weeks. Great product, and far better than 'branded' ones I've tried before.

Have this for about 6 months now. came fully charged.first charge lasted about 2 months,at about 1 shave a week head and beard.Display is clear and easy to read.charges with a USB connection and doesn't take that long,a couple of hours.Overall a decent set of clippers

UPDATE November 2025 - Amazing the battery came fully charged and only needed to be recharged this month! Okay I probably use the clippers for 5-10 mins every couple of weeks, but that is impressive nonetheless. Revised my assessment to SIX STARS. I purchased my first set of clippers during the 2020 lockdown and have been using them ever since; They’ve served well, but lately the battery/motor have struggled. A replacement battery was an option, but buying a new set seemed a more sensible choice. After reading through various reviews I decided on the Hatteker RFC-696, and unlike Walter Donovan in the Last Crusade, I chose wisely! The clippers came fully charged and I’ve used them three times and they’ve only dropped to 95% which bodes well for getting plenty of cuts off a single charge. The clippers are powered by a single 18650 battery so it should be easy to replace if needs be. The clippers come with a set of guides which are easy to fit and remove. The box also includes a small bottle of clipper oil which is handy if you don’t already have any. The blades are sharp and the motor/battery combo means there is no discernable slow down when cutting. If you do an Internet search for “Hatteker RFC 696 Teardown” there’s an excellent video by ‘Edo Unboxing Official’ that reveals the internal components of the clippers. The video shows the clipper to be well made and assembled with screws (rather than press fit) with rubber seals to help keep water out, so while probably unwise to immerse the clippers in water (and why would you?) I have used them in the shower without issue. I paid £31.44 for the RFC-696 which was really good value, and I would be happy to have paid more given the build quality and how well the clippers perform. Too soon to comment on how reliable these clippers will be, but on the basis of what I’ve seen so far, I’m very happy with them (and they are a definite upgrade on my old ones) and would definitely recommend them.

Comparing it to my old Wahl Pro. Hatteker is way ahead, first of all it's wireless, much lighter, slides through the hair even better, long battery life (100% to 40% 5 hair cuts done) and it costs twice as cheap. Not sure how long will it last, time will tell. No regrets of purchasing.

If you’re asking yourself, do I spend a little more on these than other cheaper options? - absolutely! These clippers I’ve just used, and wow they glide through my hair like butter, with no annoying snags like I’ve had before. Quality barber clippers, with multiple accessories. I am so happy that I purchased these, and you will be too!!

So yet to time test! But first cut using both trimmer and clippers. I have thick hair! Sometimes I shave it all and sometime I do a high and tight with a little in the front to turn up. New clippers I decided to shave it down! See how they held up! I must say SUPER CLOSE, SUPER SMOOTH, and ZERO NICS OR CUTS to be so close. Went from 100% battery to 93%. Clippers came fully charged! I was ultra impressed! Onto the trimmers! Again very close cut but didn’t seem to want to cut or Nov the skin in sensitive areas! Cut close enough to shape my beard and neck and ears real good and neat. It can on 60% battery but I used it to manscape, trip my neck, ears, beard and mustache and it was on 54% when I finished. I hope they both hold up and maintain this performance over time! At about $50 if I was to get 2 years out of them I would consider that an incredibly great value considering the performance! It was truly the best set of clippers and trimmers I’ve ever used…corded or cordless!

Checked a lot of reviews and these seemed to be the best option for hair & body maintenance without breaking the bank . I had two sets of Wahl clippers previously & they were ok but not great . When the second set of Wahl clippers failed to charge I wanted to try a different brand . They came fully charged right out of the box & I must say they are made really well . Trimmed my hair with the larger unit & still had 90 minutes left of charge , trimmed my back , chest & nether regions with the small unit &b still had 80 minutes of charge left so very happy with that . These units have the switch on the back of the unit under a waterproof silicone button which is way better than the units with the switch on the side !! I read a few negatives for the units with the switch on the side . They come with a full set of combs for both units & are a standard fit so all my old Wahl combs fit right on as well . Overall a great pair of clippers at a great price !
