Also. Das Ding ist keine Schönheit und sicher nichts für Taschenmesserenthusiasten. Die Werkzeuge lassen sich recht schwer ausklappen und der "amerikanische" Feststellmechanismus ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Zudem gefällt mir nicht, dass die Werkzeuge matt lackiert (?) sind und sich somit bescheuert anfühlen (soll als Rostschutz fungieren, weil es sich um Karbonstahl handelt).Aber: Die Ergonomie des Kerbschnitzmessers ist toll. Ich habe jetzt mehrere Löffel aus recht hartem Holz geschnitzt und kaum etwas vermisst. Klar; ne kleine Holzsäge und einen geraden Beitel habe ich noch von einem anderen Messer verwendet, aber ansonsten war alles dabei.Mit dem Nachschleifen bin ich noch nicht so zufrieden, aber das liegt wohl eher an mir. Den gelben Aufdruck habe ich einfach weggeschmirgelt, weil ich ihn doof fand. Darunter ist schwarzes Blech.

I got this product as a gift from my wife. It rules! I have other flexcut knives and like always they deliver a good quality product. I think this knife is a little too bulky to carry in pants pockets but would fit in cargos nicely. Of the four tools included I tend to use the detail blade and the small gouge the most. The other two blades (large gouge, v tool) have 90 deg bend and makes them less stable to use. The handle is more comfortable than I would have guessed. The blades lock in and out quite nicely. The only negative criticism I can make is that the tools ca be hard to extract due to the placement of the thumbnail groves and the fact that once the lock is depressed the blades can over rotate towards the spine making them more difficult to get a hold of. Every thing is sharp! I managed to cut myself while switching tools. I think this was more user error than design flaw. I am a fan of this product and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to any one.

Arrived very quickly and well packaged. A very useful tool for small carving and will keep my husband occupied for hours. Have seen the same product in shops but much more expensive.
